without a good spacing your animation will look floaty and without weight

Hey Alessandro, love the content and advice. I was wondering how you turned the character gray and broken up into simple shapes. It also looks like you were able to hide the arms at 3:44. Is that a specific function of this rig or is that something you can do with everything in maya?

is a specific function of the rig, but you can create some geometry and just attach it to the bones and have a similar effect
