Nightcore Lab Not really, there are players that main Frontlines and Supports or guys like me that feel comfortable with at least 2 or 3 champions for every class, the best advise for who starts competitive is: Know how to play well, at least two champions for every class, ban system punishes onetricks and also enemies could take that champion as well, so knowing how to play all the roles is really important(if you don't know the role, don't play it tho)... you can avoid one role if you don't like it, but try to at least know three of them(minimum)

The point on sticking to a role is problematic, mostly due to how you worded it. Like, I understand what you're getting at. But a far worse problem is players being too inflexible. If you want to be a *better* player, you should get good with all roles. Then you can try to push for your best role when the opportunity arises. This also helps you understand the game a million times better, so you don't become one of those noob flanks who just spams VHS all day because he just assumes all healers watch him 24/7 and don't have cooldowns or range limitations.

I had a teammate who chose a support when we already had 2 and no frontline and he said he only plays support so i tell him he might want to consider learning at least 1 champ from each class or asking for a trade (I would have been willing to trade). You forgot to add this,if in the draft selection you're at the lowest, please be humble and play tank if the person above already pick damage and flank,unless if your teammates above give an ok with going 3dps. Often encounter people that say they can't tank,like if u can't even tank then other roles is practically impossible for you since other roles requires more skill than playing tank. Actually, good tanking requires a very sharp game sense. Especially with Nando or Khan. I agree that there are some tanks that require a bit less skill than others, like Inara or Ash, which are pretty straightforward (Ash bullies, Inara is always alive no matter how much damage you output). Tanks also have some damn good game changing ults, so ult economy is always important to grasp. I'm a tank main myself, and when I ult with Nando on full health, they call me a noob, not realizing that I just saved that Drogoz while he was ulting, or that Damba that needed those few extra seconds to get his cooldowns back. If tanking was so easy as everyone says, why don't we have more tank mains then?

I agree on all of your tips except for 6:23 and the one after that. IMHO you should at least continue to play, but don't need to try to win. I can still have fun on a loosing match when I realize our team is not good enough, it's just a matter of what expectations you set for yourself. Remember: It's not your teams' fault when matchmaking failed, and it is very frustrating for them when they think they mainly lost because one of them (you) didn't play but was chilling somewhere instead. You also missed that you can also cancel Grover's ultimate, once he is at maximum health and no one is near you, if conditions met (no teammate low/ no use for speed boost) you can cancel your ability to win the 1v1.

When you say its better to have 1-1 than 0-2, wouldn't 0-2 but with an ult be better? That guarantees the capture of the point because you have comeback mechanic and ults. Even if the payload doesn't get pushed if you save ults for the next round, you'll have comeback mechanic (3-4-3-4) plus ults. Therefore this ties the score. If the other team is genuinely better, then if its 1-1, they will most likely capture the objective.

I didn't think this was going to help me becase I play Viktor in Casual or Ranked all the time (Besides if someone picks him) but it really helped me out. The best clue for me was Informing My Team, becase then they would just use their ult when they didn't need. I was playing with a Jenos and he literally did his ult when we cleared out the hole enemy team. Thank's dude! Continue helping the realm!

Honestly, these are things that players like me (Closed Beta Patch 0.1.3) expected most people understood by now; as an example for you tip "stick to your role" I play aggro tanks, aggro healers, poke flanks, and blasters as I like a fast-paced yet supportive role. A great example is that pip is expected to (while playing as a healer) throw a heal on someone then back them up with his 600 dps as that 600 means a lot when it lands with the damage/tank/flank near you. As someone who has made it to Diamond before, I have to state that these are ALL of the core reasons for that ranking. This list is all too helpful for anyone looking to climb the comp ladder and thus is an amazing video that I would highly recommend to any new player and am saving to my watch later list for that purpose. Thank you so much for being there for the noobie. :D

I think one more tip that could be added is: Don't stagger. If the enemy team is having momentum and is taking out your team one by one, don't try to rush it by yourself. It happens a lot in matches, specifically from fronts, damagers, and flanks. If you end up rushing it by yourself as you see your teammates die, you'll only end up feeding and staggering your momentum for a comeback. Be patient and wait for your team to regroup and get at it again.

Its pretty good know I use all that tips, I mean my best rank is Diamond III ik Im good but not the best, but this tips are "general" I think all need know this, including the bonus tips, and feelsgood you know these tips. Me for example play the first plays of day ever on casual ofc with diffent champs, my main and other 3 champs with ik im not so good, only for practice aim and then play ranked, if I lost 2-3 rankeds I leave the game for a few hrs and then try again, as you said after of lost 3 games you feel all negative and start play bad af, another tips can be have a comfortable setup, for example I've good aim but not a dedicated mouse with a configurable DPI (not money, in LATAM are pretty expensive a good one) and thats sometime make you miss shots in important situations. 4:45 i had a "funny" situation ; the enemy got a zhin and i played as damba i eleminated him sometimes and after 1 point he kept focusing on me ,like , he spawned , and walked right to me , ignored the freekill low khan of our team (the tank overextended and got trapped behind the enemy backline, no chance to peak him,as i could ve healed him) as i said zhin was heading straight for me but as he approached i stunned him and killed him with a bit help of our dps he even tryed to ult me 3 times (it only worked for the first time) but everytime he died, and everytime i got the kill and after the (kamikaze ult of him right into our backline straight on me) i sprayed everytime when i killed him. 2 : 2 and the enemy team got a zhin bot which got mowed down by our pushes now i actually fell kind of bad for the enemy team we won that match (obviosly)

About number 2, well why shouldn't I use my ult when they cap, first that will slow them down and secondly I'll have it by the next capture phase. And also sometimes letting them push and making them waste their ults might be more valuable, because in the next round not only you will have ults and they not, but also you will have comeback mechanic on your side.
