One of the only video's I've seen where the snow chute isn't standing straight up shooting snow unnecessarily into the neighbors yard. Well done

Haha yeh I have a system as I can only put the snow in a certain place…… lucky I don’t have any neighbours on ether side, just across the road.

Just the video I needed right now! I´m trying to decide what size of blower I really need at my place, and this shows me I can do with this model and not spend extra on the 224.

Small-ish blower, but it looks like it handled the task. Glad you are happy with it. And ANY blower is better than a shovel !!

Haha yeh when I moved to Canada I actually used to enjoy shovelling…… now I avoid it as much as possible 😂

@@spriggviews9196 Lol! At 54 years old, shoveling is OUT for me. 🤣 God bless, and have a good winter sir!

Glad to know I'm not the only guy that watches snow blower videos for fun. Just bought this same model, so far so good. But I keep snapping shear pins. :-(

I haven’t had mine break yet luckily as a few people have said this.

Snapping pins isn’t a big deal. Just make sure you don’t stick one in that’s too strong. I had to tear apart a toro that didn’t break the pin and it bent the auger shaft. Also burned up a bushing on the impeller.

Thanks for the video. I’m going to school for power sports and small engines and tore apart my 30 year old MTD. It’s going to need $100-$200 in parts for now so I figured it would be worth buying a newer used. Found a very nice st124 for $500.

-- I'm lazy. Not lazy enough to hit the thumbs up. What brand of motor does that have, and was the difference between that and the 224? Usually people hands on can throw all kinds of wisdom at ya.
