i recently was kayak fishing on the backwaters of the Mississippi River and i was 400 yards away from the shore . my kayak actually started dragging the bottom. It was that shallow. then 10 mins later got blasted by a HUGE black hornet.

I'll never understand what the purpose of a "bass boat is" these things ride like crap take a ton of water to float and even more water to jump on plane. Why not run a flats boat? Lake and bay, big O anything really. There just as fast if not faster, ride just as good or better, they have better fishability and need half as much water as a bass boat.
