just my opinion about runs with gocha. So 1st run. Gocha was a bit narrow while lead so he had some speed advantage thats why James got far with less angle and after James had an awesome lead run but Gocha's chase was also extremely close with equal angle. So Gocha had worse lead but way better chase. Thats why i think it is omt. And OMT. Leads were almost similar to me, u both took all clips with good speed and commitment. But chase runs Gocha did better. He was closer and he had same angle while James was chasing with a bit of T style. So for me seems like second run was for Gocha, but the first one is a really topic for discussion. Also it really seems like James dont have enough power to have same speed as siberian guys, probably it is time for some nitro)))))

On your last run I believe you didn’t get the win because as hard as you were throwing it during that last lead run you seemed a bit limited on pizzaz, angle & speed to angle transition on your chase. Hello from Grinya! Good job Deane!

About OMT with Gocha. When you chased him, you had an obvious T style (21:09), and this is heavily punished by the judges. The main task: to keep the angle the same or larger than that of the leader. So the judges were for Gocha. Good luck next round
@stanley42903 жыл бұрын
I agree, but dont you think if he matched hes angle and line he would be in the smoke line, and couldnt see absolute shit
@dylanbroderick68693 жыл бұрын
Gocha understeers wide at the end of the run in OMT where as JD is pinned to the door over the line, offsetting the T style earlier in the chase? JD had better lead run in OMT again in my opinion so at minimum it should have been second OMT! Fair play on staying humble and looking forward to the third round 🇮🇪

@@Matty.Hill_87 from what i see in the chases james didnt have the angle and transitions were identical from that other fella might be wrong but thats all i could put it down to
@comradical3 жыл бұрын
@@Matty.Hill_87 The way this was called was explained, and the call was rather reasonable. Leads were about the same, and while James was marginally closer in the chase at some points, a couple of his transitions were not synchronized with the leader, while if you look at Gocha's chase, there's both proximity and every transition was mirrored (look at 21:12-21:18 vs 22:17-22:25, or were you going to close your eyes on that?). Since the line is less important than style at pro level, and being in sync is style, while Gocha understeered a bit and missed the last clip in chase, James had an initiation that was slightly late and 2 late transitions, chase went to Gocha. (And this was an amazing battle!)
