Alex, we never got a bike check from you since you switched to that Fezzari. It seems like you're more about the ride than the equipment, but it would still be cool to get a closer look at what you ride now!

It's nice to see techy type trails where everything isn't about 'Bombs Away' and you take your time to think about that next turn. That kind of reminds me of the mountain biking me and my friends use to do back in the 1990's (yes... I'm that old...lol) - but exploring and trying out different trails and things is in my opinion, 'the spirit of mountain biking.' Once again, another great video Alex.

Couldn't agree more. Machine built flow trails are fun but these raw trails are where you learn much more.

That's more like the kind of trails i've ridden all my life. I got a Yeti SB130 and its definitely confidence inspiring. If you like that rocky stuff check out Government Canyon in San Antonio Texas next time you're in the area.
@lynxg46412 жыл бұрын
Sweet trail, looks super fun. Good to see that you're keeping it up and building the skills and fitness back up, trying more climbs like that will certainly help improve fitness and slow speed handling. That tight stuff probably would be easier on something with a little more realistic Geo/WB, not a 48"/1220mm WB for a size Medium. Your friends may not be dentists, but $7k for a GX build bike, that's just silly, BUT, I guess they're making you pay that warranty upfront for the 1 in 3 or 4 frames they'll have to warranty. Personally I think your friend could have saved $300 and got a better drivetrain with the C1/SLX option, but probably couldn't find it in stock.

Wish you would label what trails you're on in the video. I've been up rocky ridge plenty of times but it's a loop and then you are on that bald which I didn't recognize and then it looked like you came down Ridgeline until you popped out on the paved road which I'm assuming is guion Farm. anyway I was so confused. Lol great fun none the less.
