I push timber by the hour it was 2 - 3 acres. Your hourly rate all depends on location and machine being used

I’m using a Cat d5m. Just starting out in the business and folks seem to want land cleared for 1500 per acre or less. Done a little research and the going rate is 3000-5000 or more.

I too live in Oklahoma, have you had any experience with pushing dead burnt cedar skeletons. I seem to be doing a lot of that where I live and you want to talk about hard on a machine. Granted I’m no expert, probably only cleared about 2600 acres of skeletons so far but I still break glass regularly. Any tips for someone like me?
