244 are decent in dry condition but as soon as the trails get slick things get a little dicey. Still the best compromise IMO for mostly road riding.

Those are not happy trails. I ride with 241’s only on the streets of NYC with fast ace. I had the forks for 3 years. No issues. I have a secondary drive belt so no trails. The tires are very grippy on the streets. Keep Redban banned shhh
