Sir.Don't get me wrong here- the fact that it can receive and record a freq that high is impressive but there's no energy in the signal like the full music scale. Maybe use a piece of un-compressed music then flip between source and recording.That may give you some idea of its quality

He will do that at a later stage, but measuring with an oscilloscope is a required (and very valid) step at this point. There is no "music scale" at 27kHz so he could Not show this capability of this deck by simply "playing music". You can't measure frequency response extremes with a SONG....

This man knows all there is to know to get decks working there best ,he will do audio test when it is properly set up and calibrated .

Ну вы хотели чтобы с 105 кГц подмагничиванием и не было интермолуляционных искажений? Так не бывает. Но факт что у этого дека они начинаются почти на 10 кГц выше чем у Сони. Так что показательно.
