I had missed Ep1 of this… Rise/shift with viewfinder … and then polarising filter… Hats off to you sir! Extreme bracketing which you really really really have to do with a filter - just to ensure you didn’t leave the lens cap on! The “cam’d-for-movement” viewfinder is astonishing. I may have been a distracted by my own incredulity but didn’t register if you mentioned if multiple lenses were available for this?

Quick search thru a couple of forums and it appears not to have interchangeable lenses; by the look of things it is the lens, technical board, and Mamiya press back all integrated as a single unit. But gee, still a great kit. And unlike any other I have seen the price seems to have not moved between 2005 and the most recent listing I could find - about €2000, which is significantly less than a Plaubel 😂

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment...much appreciated. I hope you watched part one? It goes in to more details about the camera. This latest video is simply to discover how much rise one can use before vignetting becomes noticeable. This video is not part two. It is simply one step as I lean more about this special camera. I don't own it but I'm growing to love it. Before I make part two I want to really know what I'm talking about. I find too often KZbinrs have a tendency to simply regurgitate what others have said. While that can work, it is often obvious they have little to no experience actually using the equipment.

Yes, for architecture it is usually focused at infinity. The exception would be when I have an interesting foreground and need to shift focus slightly closer. Remember, this extremely sharp 47mm lens is very wide and has a tremendous depth of field! For anything closer than infinity, just check that depth of field scale to see what will be in focus at each f-stop. It is very accurate. Have fun!
