love this comparison series. I would like to see you carve out better in-cam settings. Ignore those film snobs too, these vids are great.

With Pro Neg Hi I have a white balance shift of -1r -3b and I am very happy with the results.

Im still keeping my 120 fuji pro 400h, waiting for the best moment… thanks for the comparison Was a bit surprised how close was the acros between film and digital, but these comparisons stream keep reminding me why i shot films after digital for almost my entire life

Yep, we live in a good time to have access to both :-)

I love pushed Fuji 400H pro color. The tone and contrast are similar to Asitsa Soft but the bule and green are different.

Nice, thanks. Tweaking the shadows (lifting) and highlights (lowering) in advance and color temp (up, so warmer) can get you also quite far.

Damn, I’ve just left Melbourne and your videos help me to stay sane. I really miss it even though it’s lockdown now. Australia is such an amazing country. Stay safe mate!

Hey, glad to hear that! Agreed :-) Thanks, and stay safe too

It would be really interesting to see the same comparison, but with Fuji X Weekly's 400H recipe. You can easily apply it on your computer using X-processor pro, so you wouldn't need to re-shoot anything.

True, I might check that out and see how different it is to Pro Neg!

Melbourne is the lockdown centre of the world... we're not much better in the UK. Big condolances. Fantastic clip... I learnt much... Pro Neg Hi is cooler and less contrasty than I expected... I didn't realise Provia was so punchy. Congrats on your knowledge and thx for sharing. Best wishes

A comparison with silky pix raw converter and Lightroom compared to film would be interesting
@pushingfilm3 жыл бұрын
I hadn't heard of that! Will look into it

Like the comparison! Pro Neg Hi is definitely my favorite film simulation on the X-Pro 2. How did you get the other Fuji simulations on Lightroom?
@pushingfilm Жыл бұрын
I think the X-Pro 3 comes with more simulations, which then show up on Lightroom when you import the raw files

I have a Fuji X100V and it really is the most amazing camera I've used. I used to use the screen when I was a noob but changed to the EVF as it's so clear and more helpful. I'm also dabbling in film but so far all of the results have come back less impressive than the Fujifilm.
@pushingfilm3 жыл бұрын
Nice! I've played around with with of those and was great to use!
@doozledumbler53933 жыл бұрын
@@pushingfilm I actually just noticed the X100V has simulations on it thank to your vid. Does your X-Pro3 have the Eterna/Cinema simulation, if so, what is this trying to simulate? Some sort of Fuji motion film stock?
@pushingfilm3 жыл бұрын
@@doozledumbler5393 Nice! The X-Pro3 I used was actually a loaner from Fujifilm, but it did have Eterna. That's exactly right though; it emulates the Eterna motion picture stock. I find that it's better for video rather than photo. It gives you a bit of extra leeway needed for colour grading without having to shoot in "Log".

Anyone knows the lens used for the film?
@pushingfilm2 жыл бұрын
I mainly used the Zeiss Biogon 35mm 2.8, and the Voigtlander Ultron 28mm f2 (first version)
