husband speaking age 81 Such a different time, when my wife was a teen girl she would not have been allowed to be out alone walking around with out a family member with her. This would be 50 years ago. Even as a young teacher - early 20's, after school she and a few other teachers would go to a movie but my wife would call her mother for permission to go to the show. Mom would ask, where are you now ? at the movie, how can I say no if you are already there.
