aaah ha! Thank you F.E.W. I’ve been saving these “turtle catches” in my treasure chest, I like the double glue method too of ca Carpenter glue. I enjoy looking at the angled door. Cheers Jerry In Everett Ontario

I would stain the sides of the handle brown to match everything. Use an artist brush or a stain pen 🖊️. I would also stain or paint the inside of the door. It seems like a luxury, but you are worth it to say that you are a craftsman not a handyman. 💖🌞🌵😷
