If you flip to the back and peppered through the pages will be all the horrible ads for atrocious and sometimes dangerous products that flow through and permeates through every inch of the internet today. You guys can try putting a pan of water on the stove with orange peels, cinnamon sticks, and cloves and boil it and it smells amazing. It’s even better if you have a crockpot you can put it on and simmer for hours your house will smell so good. But this recipe on the video is pretty unsafe maybe they didn’t know but I wouldn’t recommend wax and fabric softener.

Scented oils, waxed melts, scented candles and fragrance sticks can be bad for your health too. They do not check upon them very well.. There's also scientific evidence lighting many paraffin wax candles frequently in a unventilated room, are bad for your health. Buy the ones with real wax (such as organic 100% soy and coconut wax) and natural scents. Beeswax is also natural, but to obtain beeswax is considered cruel. It is a secondary food source for bees and is vital for the survival of the colony, and many bees are killed during the proces. And we should do EVERYTHING we can to save the bees. Without bees, pollination doesn’t occur and plants do not grow. A third of our food is pollination dependent.

Thanks to the comments. I was watching the video and imediatly got worried. Didn't knew much, but for sure it worried me about burning softner, even in wax. Doesn't sound safe at sll, even my gut feeling was telling me this much. Makes more sense to add softner to your deterget when claneing the hpise, so it smells nice, but def not in candels. Altho, there's also Lenor, a company who makes softners and they made a product with wax pills that you can add both to washing machine, and also to melt them on the wax melting ceramic, to defuse beautiful smell in the room. But that is actually safe because that product is specifically made for it.

He failed to also mention that burning fabric softener is toxic for both humans and animals..inhaling these fumes are quite toxic and the more you do it the more severe it gets because it really hurts your chest and causes quite alot of coughing too.. its the same as using zoflora discinfectant what has also been trending lately.. This is why we have wax melts and scented oils for, Theres even even a fresh laundry scent amongst countless of others and whats important is they dont cause any harm. Always make sure you use any cleaning detergents or products correctly folks 👍🏾

@@Lizzzz90 No not pillows, mainly the sheers, I said couch or curtains if people need to freshen up, I’am assuming that if you are an adult using these products that the common sense would just kick in, obviously don’t put it where you can ingest it but also If I’am smelling it on my clothes daily and letting it touch my skin I really am not worried about a diluted amount on my sheers every now and then, unfortunately you have to pick your battles these days, most things aren’t good for us, I’am certainly not about to spend my time critiquing every little thing!!!

Burning fabric softener is extremely dangerous and should never be done due to the potential for harmful and even life-threatening consequences: Flammable nature: Fabric softeners contain chemicals that make them highly flammable, meaning they can easily catch fire and burn rapidly. Toxic fumes: Burning fabric softener releases toxic and irritating fumes, which can cause respiratory issues, eye irritation, and even poisoning if inhaled. Increased fire risk: The chemicals in fabric softener can increase the flammability of materials they come into contact with, like clothing, making fires spread more quickly and intensely. Chemical reactions: The combustion process can create harmful chemical reactions, producing potentially hazardous byproducts.

Oh wow one way to get buzzed without getting drunk or anything and also end up in the hospital having to pay thousands of dollars or more because of fabric stuff in the candle.

A safer way to get the fabric softener smell in your home is to add to your mop water or cleaning water for washing your base boards or scrubbing your walls. If you have a carpet or upholstery cleaner, you can also add to your cleaning solution. Wash your bathroom rugs and fabric shower curtains with it as well.

Safer, non aerosol room deodorizers are available. Some contain baking soda or tea tree oil. Activated charcoal in hang-up pouches also helps absorb odors in small rooms or closets.

Doctors say candles are one of the reasons for lung cancer. Candle with fabric softener just rapids the process of getting cancer.

Maybe add essential oils instead so we all dont all d!e from inhaling toxic fumes and burning the room up with the ball of fire that the candle eventually will turn into. ✌🏼

@lbfaith

You dont need fabric softener. Just buy scents made for candle making and put a few drops inside. It costs just about the same as fabric softener and would prob last longer.

I was two minutes from doing this and thought lemme see if someone else has tried this, and read the comments. THANK YOU so much for stopping me. Hope this person took the money they saved from air freshener and set it aside for a pulmonologist. Sounds like they're gonna need one. Thanks again everyone

Since this is toxic, an alternative to the fabric softener could be essential oils. I dont think those would be as toxic
