I just love Bill Browder such a brave and intelligent man. I wish our leaders would listen carefully to what he and Ben Hodges have to say. What he says is the opposite of what is really happening . Russia has had a partial mobilisation in nearly three years of war If Russian losses were high Russia would have needed to mobilise many times It is Ukraine that is constantly mobilising . That paints the true Picture . Browder is a very untrustworthy source

Don’t forget, not all Russians follow the Putin line, and so you are simply proposing restricting their access to information other than Russian state propaganda. The way things are going, Russia will beat you to it and block access to YT, Google and western information sources precisely because people’s access to such source undermine them. No dice. After Russia's full invasion 2022, Isreal refused to send any military help, not even one Iron Dome battery as Biden had asked. After the invasion, Isreal and the Saudi's proclaimed "we value our relationship with Putin" then one week later, Isreal sent an Iron Dome battery to the Saudis to spite Biden. Isreal will never forgive that Ukraine always voted to end the occupation in the UN. Shamefull.

I should think "Mr." is the common courtesy, "Sir" is for Knights and Baronets (then it's Lord, and then His Grace for Dukes btw, not that he's ever going to get that title), although to be fair it is also a title used in other circumstances (like for school headmasters). But yeah I don't think sir is necessary, he's not Sir Bill Browder, not yet anyway

As one of many Americans who for two years has been following the war in Ukraine on Times Radio. With your excellent radio hosts and many very knowledgeable guest speakers like Mr. Bill Browder thank you. Afterall whetever the wind blows Great Britain so too goes America and vice a versa. Like married couples we may not always agree with each other. But in times of crisis or war. America and Great Britain have a long and storied history of comradeship. And if necessary fighting side by side with each other and wherever that may be in the world. In a nutshell Great Britain and America are each others most important and dependable ally. And during times of great peril. We are two countrys always united and acting as one. To be blunt an attack by another foreign country like say Russia on Great Britain. Is an attack on America and vice a versa. It is what it is. The bond between America and Great Britain has more than past the test of time and can never be broken. In short it is a very good and cherished friendship and history between our two countries. As a United States Navy veteran we all have a great deal of respect for our friends and counterparts in Great Britains Royal Navy and Great Britains military in general.

@@marvinfalk5959 The world can get by without Russian oil (and gas) quite easily. Many countries are reducing their dependency on oil and there are other countries who have excess supply (Saudi Arabia, Canada, the US and others). There's plenty of oil. The real problem is that we humans have to learn to burn less of it (and maybe leave some of it in the ground). There's no rule that says that we have to burn ALL of it. In fact that would be extremely foolish.

Quite "funny" how Kim has declared that they will help Russia to victory in this "holy war" against Ukraine, a country that has done absolutely nothing "bad" against North Korea to deserve this aggression. Ukraine isn't and never was any threat to North Korea whatsoever, and why the heck has it suddenly become a "holy war"? Of course Kim also declares at the same time, that they "know of" South Korea plotting a nuclear attack on North Korea. For his information, no civilized nation have this obseession with nukes as a "simple problem solver" that he and his dictator friends do - only they would ever consider going nuclear as a tantrum reaction of not getting exactly what they want. The entire civilized world (yes, even China) understand, and acknowkledge, that nuclear weapons do not solve any problems and would never, in a million years "make plans for a nuclear attack on North Korea"

I have always felt for the young Russians and now the North Koreans but there is very little mentioned about their humanity. Hundreds of thousands of twenty year olds killed because of two men. I truly believe there would be way fewer wars if all countries were run by women. The male ego factor wouldn't be there because women don't need that.

When America uses Its allies in war ( In iraq America was helped by 39 other countries ) or Israel does as in the latest wars eg America , Britain , France , Jordan , Germany etc helped . Does that mean America or Israel have troop shortages or aircraft and missile shortages . Why can all western countries have allies but not Russia ?

As usual, your insights to the Putin thinking and Russian culture is so straightforward and with clarity that NATO restrictions on weapons use is an absurdity that is beyond any match. Our brains intuitively can’t reconcile it and a cognitive dissonance that just creates a cerebral malfunction.

I hate people saying "Ukraine will somehow prevail. they have always surprised us so far." Is that the reason the West is so hesitant..? They want to help Ukraine create a wonder..? is it some form of "tough love"...?

700,000 total casualties is nowhere near 700,000 Russian killed in action. Less than half were killed although outcomes for Russian wounded are terrible. It makes me doubt much of what Browder says when this obviously wrong fact is accepted at face value.

Belarus is next to Ukraine and Russia but Putin can’t get any troops from there. Could it be that Lukashenko has been asked,but has told Putin to get lost? He is often portrayed as being Putins stooge in the west,but has kept his country out of the war when others would have been eager to join in.(e.g. Mussolini in ww2) He deserves credit for keeping his country out of the war.

No one is estimated 700,000 Russian KILLED. This is an estimate for casualties, not deaths. If you are reporting on wars, you need to reports responsibility while actually understanding what the terms mean. Please be a professional.

Bill Browder, CEO of Hermitage Capital Management, based in Guernsey, a great place to have your business if you want to avoid the kind of taxes that UK residents have to pay, and formerly a massive investor in the Russian market when international focus there was much less than it is today. So long as he's made his Russian capital and got a good tax plan, he can then tell us what is going on.

it's good to ask the western putinists if, given the hypothetical of having to live in either north or south korea, which one would they choose. whenever i have asked, the answer has always been south korea. so i wonder if they realize that conditions in russia and north korea are exactly identical.
