People just have to understand how important it is for American citizens to defend the Ukrainian border, United States border doesn't matter
@ljrgi475 ай бұрын
I'm normally a big fan of TV rain, but when the interviewer comments that "Russian civilians have died" she doesn't mention numbers or cause (deliberately targeted or collateral damage). Russia has repeatedly targeted civilian areas with bombs and missiles, including a children's hospital. Among those killed by Russian troops, many had been tortured. Estimates place Ukrainian civilian casualties at over 30,000, The most recent numbers I've heard for Russian civilians is 11, and all of them died as a result of Russian military actions. The interviewer acts as if Ukrainian forces are worse than Russian forces, because of this. I'd challenge her to find any proof or Ukrainian soldiers brutalizing Russian civilians.

The Kursk adventure has its price - it is more than a thousand dead high-quality soldiers with experience and motivation. The operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region "has its terrible price," said the mayor of Lviv, Andrei Sadovoy. By publishing a list of soldiers who are being buried in Lviv and who died from Zelensky's Kursk adventure. Of course, he did not blame Ze, but the hidden message is clear. If Zelensky cannot hold the Kursk bridgehead for a long time, then he will be accused of throwing the best at the dumbest attack. Although yesterday everyone was singing his praises.

Holding land is never a good strategy for a small force like Ukraine's. They should hit Karkhiv from the flank and roll up the Russian lines there, its all garbage troops who will run on contact. Afterwards, they can position on the flank of the Northeast Russian lines and destabilize the entire position there forcing a Russian pull back and reshuffle.
@K0nc3pt10n5 ай бұрын
Agreed. Russia will have to flatten its own cities just as it did to Ukranian cities if it wants to retake them. How will that look to the Russian public?
@bodasactra5 ай бұрын
Your reasons are far too dependent on "if" than reasoning. An attack on the flank of the Russian forces in Karhkiv will assuredly roll up their lines, free up defending forces, and provide a variety of high percentage future opportunities. Continued maneuver operations offer a more self determined chance of success with decisive political and strategic rewards. Holding action inherently gives the enemy the initiative and introduce the needless "if" factor you have so clearly articulated.
@doughooper99185 ай бұрын
@@bodasactra Then i can say that right now the Ukrainians are losing land. This bold ove changes the barrative and forces Russia to make adjustments. Also Putin requires buy in from the people and now that the war is getting closer to their backyards as well as the financial issues, the war is losing popularity quickly and putin is losing face.

Ukraine suddenly seized a fairly small territory in the Kursk region, and now this territory is almost not growing, despite the constantly arriving Ukrainian reinforcements. At the same time, Ukrainian troops were withdrawn from other places, and today in the Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions, Ukraine loses more in area in 2-3 days than it was conquered in the Kursk region (and in Toretsk it is not fields, but an urban agglomeration). And here they talk about the defeat of Russia. They make an elephant out of a fly, and a fly out of an elephant. Or maybe this whole wonderful operation was launched in order for such conversations to be conducted in the Western media?
