He's a typical dictator and bully who exploits weakness and respects strength. He's far from being backed into a corner and rattles his nuclear sabre just for effect and to bluff and intimidate with no intention of using them. Strategically and tactically he has nothing to gain and everything to lose. He may respond in other ways, but nuclear weapons are not an option. At no time has Russia moved nuclear weapons or gone to higher alert status after his numerous empty threats.

@@clinthowe7629there’s no chance Putin the Dog will use nukes, he knows that it’d be the end of Moscow and developed Russia…and China wouldn’t be happy, and in fact could even invade Russia for its resources. Even IF Putin wants to launch there could be two major issues: 1) will the missiles work and 2) will the people pressing the buttons actually press the buttons knowing that they’ve just killed their families, friends and Russia in NATO’s retaliation! Both sides in the Cold War had the policy of not firing first, and even Russia trains for this today…they motivate the troops by saying Russia has been attacked, they aren’t trained to fire first and thus be the ‘bad guy’.
