Putin is BEGGING for a Ceasefire with Ukraine

Putin has been having all of his subordinates and propagandists pushing the narrative that Ukraine MUST agree to a ceasefire soon. The Russians are doing this not to help Ukraine but because they know their own resources are not infinite and Russia is showing clear signs of economic and military exhaustion.

No. If Russia just runs as fast as they can tomorrow they still have the "tiny" problem of sanctions... sanctions that can still be cranked up. Sanctions that can, if push comes to shove, cripple Russia completely. Russia should not "get off the hook" until: All Ukrainian children are returned. All Ukrainian POWs are returned. All museum artefacts stolen by the Russian army (we have videos!) are returned. All the military assets Russia stole from Crimea and Donbas has been returned or replaced. Russia agrees to handing over the $300bn in frozen assets as the first payment in reparations for the destruction they've caused. Russia agrees to pay 2% of GDP to Ukraine as reparations for the next 10 years. Russia agrees to not spend more than 0.5% of GDP on defence for the next 10 years. Russia agrees to reduce their nuclear stockpiles to the same number the US is willing to go down to. At this point it's not enough the Ukraine survives. At this point we need Ukraine to WIN and Russia to LOSE. In the most literal sense of those words. Russia needs to feel like Germany after WWII when all is said and done.

Why doesn't anyone make it very, very clear that Russia has invaded nine times, and each time they cry about a cease-fire... and then attack again. There wre *two* Chechen wars, with a cease-fire separating them THen, he invaded Georgia. Then the Donbas. Then Crimea. And *every time* there was an agreement. And every time, Russia abandoned it. There is no reason to think Putin would behave any differently the next time.

The "convoy" stopped because they ran out of fuel but there were not enough diesel fuel tankers to supply them all. In addition to that the soldiers in that convoy only had rations (food) for only three days, it appeared in a Polish newspaper that some went to the farm houses around to ask anything that they could eat, and the soldiers did not intimidate anybody but were turn "tomato red" as they were shy to ask for the very basic... food because they asked people they were going to invade. Impressive isn't it ? I am Polish and phoned a few friends and all answered my that the Pols have never ever laugh that much since they were kids (infant), they are all around 70 years old. It seems that photographs circulated on Telegram but were disappearing after a day or two though most of them were posted again and again. On of my Polish friend was laughing so much when he was telling me other things in relation to this "traffic jam... without the jam" as he said, that it could have been said within a few seconds without laughing. I could repeat some of their jokes but they can't be translated as they are either expressions or filled with slang words.

If things start turning around in a few months, so will his popularity. More air defence, modern jets and increasing the deep strikes are key. Choking off the incursion in Kherson by destroying supplies and taking out Russian strike jets is a good place to start. Followed by artillery preparation, shaping and clearing operations. The Ukranians know how to do this, they just need the tools. Zelensky is a master of rallying international support, even DJT is impressed.
