Perhaps some people do not know this, but the US is a nation that currently provides for the possibility of launching a nuclear attack first. In fact, Biden's policy allows "First Use of Nuclear Weapons" in the case of defending the vital interests of the US or its allies. In other words, it allows the use of nuclear warheads in response to attacks that are external to the US. The Russian constitution prohibits such a thing, allowing only a retaliatory strike in the event that an enemy actually tries to shatter the Russian nation. Putin just wants to get on par with the US, also to officially put Belarus under the Russian nuclear umbrella.

Its not desperate. West (mostly globalists like Blackrock, Vanguard ect.) wants to attack deep inside Russia with Nato ("Defence" alliance, but not "attack" alliance) weapons, that means direct Nato and Russia war. 3 years both sides (West and Russia) were playing in Ukraine. Same reaction would be if Russia suddenly uses on any Nato country some weapons they would get an answer from us, but they have same right to answer us if we attack them. We need peace agreement because this could lead to terrifying consequences that would affect all of us. We don't want history to repeat and everybody knows or at least can imagine consequences of a nuclear war.
