Once you know what to look for, the malignant antisocial personalities aren't that difficult to detect, and yet we continue to afford such people the benefit of a doubt, which people in such condition do not deserve even for a moment. Once you figure out that a leader has an APD, all bets are off, period. From there on you must consult a team of professional psychiatrists in order to know how to deal with such leader. Now I see why Blinken was chosen Secretary of State. He is brilliant and of high ethical standards. Most importantly he is respectful of others. I want to believe him when he says that the Maidan coup was not instigated by the US government. Could it be big business at work?

So interesting to be listening to this excellent interview again in October 2022. Antony Blinken refers to 'consequences for Russia' on several occasions. How ironic that the greatest consequence was Putin's own overreach in starting a war to invade all of Ukraine. We didn't have to bring him down. He brought himself down, in the most epic, barbaric self emoliation beyond anything we could have imagined a year ago, never mind in 2017.

I really never before had the feeling a leading US politician speakes not only straight forward but also is much concerned about making things clear. Mr. Blinken seems to me one of the honest and toughest Politician for foreign affairs, what makes him so trustworthy (and I was not typically convinced by US politicians "freedom and democracy aims") is that he is deeply worried about the loss of trust in "Western values" and he does not deny the indescribable damage Putin and Trump had caused to European and US Democracies (the first one out of clever tactics and the second simply by its stupid Ego, when it comes to "punishment", in my opinions Trump is a guilty for conspiracy out of selfoverestimated Idiot, during his presidency every day the white house was like "the Simpson" to me, I could not belief, up today, that this guy would even be able to run a Fastfood restaurant.
