Vladimir Putin has made a surprise visit to Russian-occupied Mariupol, his first visit to territory captured by his forces in the year-long conflict, CNN reported.
The visit was an apparent act of defiance, coming just days after the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for him.

The general gist of what went on: The guy who was accompanying Putin appears to be some local administration authority and he was describing to Putin the city plans for building new apartment complexes and remodeling existing ones in order to get as many displaced people to move in as possible. The little bunch of civilians toward the end appeared to be excited and surprised to see Putin, kept thanking Putin and then one of the older guys invited Putin to see his new apartment. Initially Putin hesitated saying that it might be awkward to just go into someone's place unannounced but the older guy insisted and Putin briefly took a tour of the older dude's little flat. Then, at the end, everyone thanked Putin again.

According to WaPo of all places Russians have 1:6 advantage in artillery (you can imagine their real advantage). 85% of Ukrainian soldiers are killed even without seeing an enemy. Biden administration is getting quite desperate . The only option left for Biden administration is to throw Polish army into a meat grinder. I just hope that Polish government isn't that crazy.

I’m not sure. I think it’s Putin, but I’m no expert. He obviously came in overnight and probably stayed like an hour before getting back out. Mariupol has been hit by a lot of resistance fighting.
