Fyi, the first song it's not our national anthem, more like national song about virtue of a mother and a gratitude to the motherland, it's called "Holy Jasmine" written by Guruh Soekarno (son of our very first President) and the man on 3:04 I think it's him (CMIIW Indonesian) And the second song called "Rungkad" (means collapsed/destroyed) it's a fresh viral Dangdut love song (Dangdut is our Country/Folk music with festive characteristic) also the lyrics actually a mix of Indonesian and Javanese (one of our traditional language) maybe like mix of English and Spanish in Latin song? Anyway thank you for supporting Putri, we are so proud of her for being Indonesian representative to the world.

We don't have a queen and king in Indonesia. We have a president. The first song Putri sang was in Indonesian language while the second song was in Javanese language. Yes, Indonesia has kings but in modern days after becoming republic they just the cultural symbols in their respective regions (36 provinces) We elect directly our president. 😊 The kings are invited to president palace for celebrating independence day ceremony 🎉🎉🎉 The guests in the ceremony are the VVVIPs of the country and they wore traditional ethnic costumes. The president gave them bycicles for who wearing the best costume!

He dedicates this song as a final sign of respect and gratitude to his beloved mother, Fatmawati, who has joined the struggle for Indonesian independence The song Melati Suci tells the story of the beauty of the Jasmine flower which thrives in Indonesia and symbolizes love for the motherland, praise, hope, a symbol of tenderness and beauty, dedication and the importance of maintaining cultural diversity in Indonesia. The second song is titled "Rungkad" The word Rungkad comes from the Javanese language which means to collapse, topple, to be destroyed or it can also be interpreted as a condition that is not doing well, is sinking or is facing trials. This song tells the story of someone who feels hurt and loses his wealth because he loves his lover so much just by looking at her appearance. She make Indonesia proud in the eyes of the world.. so obviously President Jokowi & the crew invited her to be one of singers that performed in Indonesia Independence Day this year. Oh right, maybe there're already some people said in the comments.. The 1st song is "MELATI SUCI" created & composed by Mr.Guruh Sukarno Putra, the youngest son of our 1st President; Mr. sukarno. It wasn't our National anthem, but the song often sing by various Indonesian singers in Independence Day every year, wherever it's at Istana Negara (Indonesia White House) orin special stages by some TV channels. Mr.Guruh created "MELATI SUCI" for her late mother, because her mother is also the important person by helped us to have our Independence 'till today. FYI. The first song "Melati Suci" (Sacred Jasmine) is not the Indonesian national anthem. The song was created by the son of the first president of the republic of Indonesia (Soekarno). Created to remember and honor his father and mother as national heroes. Even the songwriter was also there watching Putri sing. Yes, you are right in Indonesia there are many kingdoms. Now they are united in the government of the Republic of Indonesia. If you look at the video for the celebration of Indonesian independence, there are lots of different clothes, they represent the culture of their respective royal regions.
