The first song named Melati Suci (Holy Jasmine), composed by the youngest son of first President of Indonesia, Guruh Soekarno Putra. Guruh composed and dedicated Melati Suci (Holy Jasmine) for his mother, Fatmawati. The story behind this song was also inspired by Fatmawati, who was also the first First Lady of Indonesia. Along with this song, Guruh also created a special dance for his mother. When this song was composed, Fatmawati was carrying out worship in Mecca. On her way back to Jakarta, Fatmawati made a stop in Kuala Lumpur to buy costume materials that she planned to use for this special dance. After shopping, Fatmawati died. So, Fatmawati hasn't had the chance to hear this special song that her youngest child composed for her. In this video, Guruh looked moved. My guess is that when he heard Melati Suci, Guruh recalled memories with his beloved mother. Moreover, this special song was sung at a special event by a special talent in a very good and special way. Guruh conveyed the story behind Melati Suci when interviewed by MetroTV in 2015. Hi Mike n' Jess Jakarta weather on dry season these days is between 29-34 Degree Celcius,its warm but most foreigner will says its so humid FYI the first song is made by The First President Soekarno youngest son to his Beloved Mother that passed away after pilgrimage from Mecca.. I'm trying to translate it as close as possible bcuz you know the OG lyric itself so poetical somehow is hard to translate (literally) even in Bahasa Indonesia.. An excellent reaction as always. Princess was very busy from Independence Day to the 20th. She performed that evening with David Foster and with Ronan Keating on the 19th. She sang 4 songs at Ronan's concert including one with Ronan. Even though they are fan cam the quality is fairly decent. I highly, highly recommend these videos. Unfortunately, Indonesia won't be able to vote because of not beaning in Indonesia, but I'm sure they will be watching closely. Too bad they can't get an American Phone Number. FYI, the colorful dress is worn to pay respect to the tribe from where their ancestors came. A little trivia, there are 700 + official languages (not dialect) in Indonesia.
