That Clark fork lift is the ticket. It's a beast of burden!
@joedennison29728 ай бұрын
Since we’re looking at forks, can you do me a favor and check the heels for wear particularly on the old lift. The fork thickness just after the 90 degree bend should be no less than 90 percent of what the vertical thickness measurement is up by the carriage. Using metric measurements is easier. I’m Guessing that fork is 60mm thick x 150mm wide. (6,000? lb. Truck) If the fork is only 53mm right after the bend where the heel meets the floor, they are worn out and should be changed. Technically torching holes in the tips is a no no too, but I’ve never seen a farm forklift that didn’t have them… Carry on Andy, Great show!! Thanks!

@SocietyIsDoomed8 ай бұрын
They do that on purpose. They don't make any money selling a new blade if you can just use your old one.
@MorganOtt-ne1qj8 ай бұрын
@@SocietyIsDoomed The blades are aftermarket, as are many other frame mounted attachments, except loaders. It's really just a lack of understanding WHAT they are designing and HOW it is going to be used.
