Putting A LokSound Decoder in HO Scale Wilson | Bachmann Chuggington DCC Sound Conversion

I spent a lot of money on a LokSound decoder and put it into a very inexpensive engine from Chuggington.
This DCC conversion should only be attempted by grown ups only!

This thing is so awesome LOL. You nailed the sounds down to a tee. The signal sequence sfx made me chuckle. And yes, in the show Wilson's engine is an EMD 645.

a 645E3 as used in the video? or a 645E roots blown as Wilson has 2 exhaust stacks as he is based on an F7. He sounds like he should be a GP38-2 internally…

Idk, maybe he did? He only showed us three phrases straight from the show unfiltered. I would've used the voice clips from the Traintastic Adventures app if I were able to get hold of clean rips

Well it is show accurate, Wilson is just missing the circular vents on his face and footsteps under his doors. You could easily fix this with plasticard or 3d printed parts... or just vinyl or cardboard or even paint pen them on if you're gonna take the cheapest way out...😑💀
