Putting a Servo power feed on the Enco mill. South Bend 10K lathe is up and running again..

Very nice lathe. You are missing the 2 rubber bumpers for you gear cover. You can make a couple by turning down a couple of bolds and gluing a piece of runner to the heads. I had no luck finding the rubber ones.

I know, Right?! Those have been on my mind and shopping list. I've been planning to look at those little round cupboard door stops. I think I've seen them about the right size. The 10K rebuild kit I got from Ebay came with everything but those bumpers. I will mention that when I review the buyer later on. Great kit otherwise..

Looking forward to see the Enco up and running with the Servo . What happened to the wheel on the lathe ?

The motor and drive fell off of the bench while working on installing new motor. Replacement on way. $110 I didn’t really want to spend, but thank goodness for Ebay..

One step forward, two steps back. I swear there is some unwritten rule of the universe that says you can't get the right belt the first time. I must have ten of them hanging on a nail out in the garage. Looks like you have a good plan, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I should have just gone to the auto parts store, but I ordered on Amazon so I could "save time." How's that working out? Not well..lmao
