*How an earth did this work?! This could turn Josh into a single figure golfer…if it was legal!*

You really only need to put it one once per 9 holes and don’t need a lot. Apply, smooth it out, hit. Look where the mark of the contact is. Take a picture. Smooth out the remaining amount across the face. Repeat until you start noting not much on the face left. Only need a thin film. Lasts about 8-10 holes depending on temp, weather, sunshine. A lot of great feedback because you learn immediately a lot about your strikes. Can use on fairway woods, hybrids.

7 years ago I suggested Fried Eggs Golf to do a video on this. They did and now have way over a million views! I am so thankful that this has helped many thousands of golfers. You can use a more lofted driver and get huge distance with a small amount of vaseline.

Crazy results I would have never imagined it would work.

Mid 2000s, and earlier, but when drivers started really evolving to where they are today, they used to have smooth faces. Then they started making them grooved, milled etc because they “discovered” it helps for whatever reason. I think the logic is, toe, heel it adds the spin to come back towards the center. But the problem is, it sometimes and lots of time, spins too much in wrong direction and makes it worse. I play old drivers for this reason and find more fairways. Loss of distance but in play compared to woods or OB

Not sure if anyone else has pointed it out, but looks to me like his LTDx is set to Draw, standard loft. Which can't be helping his normal shot

Fun video, quick question then observation, if the physics is simply smoothing groves, why are groves there at all? Observation: it's the wax not secret sauce of chapstick
@MrTrevinhowell9 ай бұрын
With the oil from chapstick it doesn't allow the ball to stick to the face of the club as long during the trampoline effect , which doesn't allow the ball to spin off the club face

I tried this myself and it did not help me at all but then again I am a heal striker and slice! Would have loved it to work for me

U didn’t do it right. This 💯 works. I did it for fun once, couldn’t slice it if I tried.

@@therealbeedubbs35 I am glad it worked for you however their is only one way to use it and for whatever reason it did not work for me
@hectormartinez59019 ай бұрын
If you play with chapstick to drive how would it work hitting the ball off the fairway , wouldn’t the ball be dirty or have to clean it ? 🤔😁

This is ok until you want to draw or fade lol. Wonder how many golfers will have chap lips this weekend 😂

I've done this. It does reduce spin. It didn't make me hit every fairway, didn't cause me to shoot a much better score, and it's against the rules. (That's bewteen you and your playing partners imo) You can get the same results from using the non-conforming Polara balls off the tee.

A golfing buddy of mine had a terrible slice, so bad that I told him the secret. He used the grease for almost a year. He stopped using the grease and like a miracle, his slice was gone forever! I think "fear of the slice" and trying to "steer" the ball left actually causes the slice.

You are a professional golf player and you would not slice anyway. You are testing the trick with the wrong people. You need a beginner to test the trick with.
