The average woman is 40 lbs. lighter than the average man, so generally speaking women might be better served by learning grappling arts like Judo/SAMBO/BJJ/wrestling, versus even a premier striking sport like Muay Thai It’s just more likely to even the physically unfair odds

@@corpsefoot758 I actually disagree, from experience training for many years women are mostly too weak to be able to effectively implement their grappling techniques versus strong men (especially if they don’t train weights too), there’s too much false confidence building for women in grappling, it’s dangerous. Most strong aggressive untrained men would be able to utterly rag doll a trained female grappler. I’d go so far as to say that Thai boxing can be better for women from a self defence perspective because u don’t actually have to contend with the opponent’s strength if they’re unable to make contact with u, yet you’re able to strike them, I’ve seen weak women delivering pretty nasty strikes capable of kos. On the other hand with grappling it is always a battle of strength irregardless of how skilled you are especially versus untrained people who’re just wildly flailing around
