I don't think the clip shows he's obnoxious radoslovich. He's not trying to upstage Carol, because believe it or not he ALWAYS laughs like that. Every time you see him laugh he's larger than life, that's just how he is. Everyone who meets him says he's incredibly energetic and has a huge personality, and so he laughs in a big way too. That's all. Sometimes being loud, vibrant and unembarrassingly childlike (which John can be) is mistaken for being obnoxious, but the two are different!

it was a real show, the camera's have to practice there routes for the real performance that they are going to do, its the best way for them to practice there routes to get everything perfect for the final show. they will do the same thing for when they record Gypsy coming up soon

It was a little hard to make out from all their laughter, but apparently there had been some wardrobe malfunction before and the victim had made use of duct tape. I know Ruthie says something about Barrowman splitting his pants, so it may be that he is talking about how she had to act as if she couldn't see the duct tape used to temporarily keep them together.
