I want that same tractor with gear drive, it picked up that log like it was nothing, surprised me, I don’t even really need a tractor but I’m getting anyway 👍

I loved mine for sure ! They come in so handy specially with that grapple attachment on the loader.

I just bought a new L3302. Almost went with the 2502 but we have a river camp on the Ohio with a very steep 17deg concrete boat ramp and I bumped up to the 33 HP for pulling the dock and boats up and picking up and getting rid of large drift wood every spring. After watching you move those 3 large tree trunks effortlessly at idle I'm convinced the 2502 would've done the job for me.

Thanks for watching! That is actually one thing I don’t regret getting is my L2501 DT. I love the control of the motor rpm by just pushing the throttle on the floor. And yes my tractor lifts logs of that size actually pretty easy. And I haven’t turned it up or anything like that. I’ve actually thought of going back down a couple sizes of tractors. But nothing yet. Thanks again for commenting and watching our video.

That grapple looks really useful. I have just got a Kubota L1-382 with the same loader-so I am going to get one of those-thanks!

Thanks for watching the video. Please share and check out some of our other videos when you can. You won’t regret getting a grapple hands down, that one of the best loser attachments I have. Again thanks for watching our channel

Really nice video. We've been looking for a smaller tractor to do more work around our house or places our larger cab tractors can't get into. Great point about the tire choice. Also it was interesting that you chose the gear drive over the hydro. I've had gear drive tractors before and for any type of loader work, the hydro just seems easier for me. But I definitely agree with you about saving the horsepower.

Thanks for watching. We appreciate your comment and viewing. I always appreciate comments good or bad. Let’s me know what I need to talk about and or explain why I chose what I did. I have plenty more videos coming with the L2501 as well. As a matter of fact I just posted another one last night. Thanks for watching!

@HodgePodgeHoosiers I didn't mean for the comment to be critical at all. I hope you didn't take it that way. I think the transmission choice comes down to a personal preference. We have a hydro that's used for all of our loader work, bucket, grapple, forks... and a gear tractor for mowing hay, brush hogging, dragging logs or any thing like that. I think if I had to choose just one type I'd go with the hydro, but that's only because of the type of work I normally use it for. Also, it's a little paranoia for me. I constantly think about the wear on the clutch every time I ease in to pick up a pallet or back in to hook up a 3 point attachment. Anyway, great video and I'll be watching for the next one.

Hey Jeff ,it looks like that Tractor only has ONE GEAR . I'm guessing 4th speed low range... for everthing!

Thanks for watching our videos. It has high and low ranges, I just happen to hog in low range 3rd or 4th gear most of the time. And yes to a manual tractor like this one 3rd and 4th is the most torque and power and speed matched up to mow in without just simply crawling around in a lower gear and taking for ever to mow with. If you own a manual I’m sure you know where I’m coming from. Thanks again for watching!

@@HodgePodgeHoosiers l have a "kubogy-grind-a-matic". Just kidding it's a Mx5200 TLB with " four on the floor" Shuttle-shift 8×8. This 8000+ pound "Lug" has 1080 hours and has operated flawlessly; l give it Lots of Grease& Marvel-Mystery oil.The best thing about this thing IS "it's paid fer". It's not my favorite "Trak-tor", but l keep it around ,just because it has a "digger on the back". My favorite "Trak-tor" is the "Cadillac" a 85% just ad big Massey-Ferguson 1736 12×12 Power-Shuttle TL. ,it HAS the "Right amount of Gears". Have a 1988 Massey-Ferguson 1600hr 21hp 2wd, none -loader 3speed "hydro-slack-o-matic " chain-drive, with a "custom high lift" front "doz-a-matic" 6' blade that thinks it's a D9. I "Need" another small tractor like yours with the Loader & maybe the backhoe, but the 8×4 " Trany" is WAY Too Slow in Reverse. Four of my "Compadrey's" have the L2501's in the "Hydro-slack-Howl-o-matic" version;--/ so this is "out of the question " also. Might just have to go with a smaller 25hp "Of- brand" hydro-slack-o-matic. Thinking about a 2100lb BRANSON-TYM 2610 with a 3 range "hydro-slack-o-matic "; it is Quiet & Fast ! Thank you Sir for the reply & happy safe tractoring.

Enjoying the video. I’m set to purchase same tractor next week. Think it will be the right size for my property and projects. What brand quick hitch did you purchase?…and do you like it? Thanks for posting.

Thanks for watching and subscribing to our channel! My dealer sold me the LP05 quick hitch. I thought at the time it may be to small for the size of tractor however over the time I’ve owned it. No issues at all. And it requires NO bushings which I love. You will love your new tractor! Any questions just let me know. I will answer if I know. Please watch our other videos. I believe I show the 05 in one.
