She’ll come back and someone else is moving in at the end of January, but for now it’s just me and my cat and it makes me very sad. I love my friends so much and living with her has been so great. It’s 2 am for me right now. I just ate half a thing of cottage cheese. I’m so happy for her cause I know it’s going to be amazing, but I also really wish she was still here.

I'm not pregnant, but I feel Julia on the knee. I have hEDS & my knee will just pop out for burgers whenever it feels like. I switched to using KT (kinesiology) tape (the stuff athletes tend to use) rather than full bandaging...if you get the right placings it can be very effective at supporting then ligaments & the like while protecting your joints from going in directions you don't want them to, but without the bulk, overheating & movement restriction of an ace bandage or other wrapping. When I started using KT as a support for my weak quads to stop my knee collapsing, it made a huge difference. There are also some really cool looking KT out there (I have one with biohazard symbols on lol), so you can even have funnwith how itnlooks while supporting things (just try not to rely onmit too much, it helps to take a break after a couple weeks, or some people find they only need it during certain activities imo). I just wish I could have done the same for the achilles tendonitis I developed on boxing day, that has been a battle since. Idk, this might help someone "in chat", as I know we do have a fair few other zebras in the Drawf & SSS community. As for playingnthese kinds of games. I really enjoy them when they are nice & chill paced too, like this one seems to be so far. I really enjoy cafe simulator & the TGC shop simulator (I think Jacob played that later one), I could never get into something like power washing sim though,mthere has to be a bit more thought to it than that. I could never work a job like this anymore, irl, physically: I struggle to sit upright for a couple of hours let alone running around on dodgy knees & hips, with a bad back & crutches lol. However, there is a lot of escapism in these games. I do have retail experience from when I was much more able-bodied, and I did really enjoy it. But it was the customers (and sometimes management) that could be a real PitA.

the way i was so happy for you when you unlocked lettuce.... also, for me, i think i could find food service/retail enjoyable but i have horrendous social anxiety and i'd be paranoid an upset customer or disgruntled coworker would have weapons on them (or leave and return with weapons). my last job was in a hospital laboratory and it was fine, but super stressful because people's lives are literally on the line and we were understaffed with no plans to bring staffing back to pre-COVID levels.
