I think the tarot gives a clear answer at the beginning even if there is no Lenormand. Normally when I do the reading of tarot, I anchor the major arcana to be the main results, in this case, the devil which means contract. With the question of will he get employed, the answer is definitely yes. However, the answer can be defined more with minor cards, such as three swords or the cups, and that means he doesn't like the offer he has got. The wand says that he wasn't able to handle what he wanted to get or wanted to be done. No coin card in the tarot means that he has no money. So, the tarot result is complemented by Lenormand that the bouquet (offer) leads to the solution of his financial situation.

Hi Elle, While I read reversals in Tarot, I never do in Lenormand, and most traditional readers don't. You won't need to, as the neighboring cards dictate the language. That said, there are other systems with cards much like Lenormand (like Deste Katina cards) that DO use reversals, and it does work. So I would say no for Lenormand tradition, but know that other possibilities are out there that may challenge this. For me, no. Not for my Lenormand readings (yet).

When you laid the tarot cards first did you read them as a whole using intuition or did you have specific assigned placement ? Do you place any specific number of cards and also have a friend who keeps asking question after question. Would you reshuffle each time or just pick out cards? Sorry for being a bother !

This is the French Cartomancy deck, often available at the Book Depository online for about $10. Be sure to get the mini version (this size is actually mini, though it is not the typical mini size). The regular cards are the hugest cards I've ever seen and unusable. For this deck, I trimmed off the white borders that the deck comes with.

With regards to the Romance tarot reading, the Chariot before the Lovers, can mean, a sudden departure ends the romance and the Chariot after the Lovers, can mean a sudden shocking betrayal. I found the other Tarot cards, 10 Wands ( moving on) and Ace of Wands ( look at other new options) also indicative of no lasting romance or relationship. Also, the Grand Etteilla combines Oracle and Tarot cards, so you can get an oversight at a glance and then look for combinations.

You mention that you read reversals in Tarot, how about in Lenormand? Pardon my ignorance, i'm brand new to Lenormand and just learning. My first ever card deck was a Lenormand deck but i was very young and was only messing around, but as im more serious now, i have just repurchased the exact same deck from my youth online tonight. And can already see that my attraction to Lenormand is greater then Tarot! So is it possible to read reversals in Lenormand, or is that just a tarot trait? Thank you!
