Half rack size are great, or at least 12 inch like mesa bass amps

Yes I agree but let me finish my collection while they are still cheap. Once word gets out prices are going to get crazy like they did with other old gear.

@@TheOtherJCBroadcast We're way past that point, $5k for a tri-stereo chorus is insane! They need to rerelease a lot of that stuff like the TC1210 to give us that are late to the party a chance!

This is amazing, I LOVE rack mounts but have never used one. never graduated above pedals but it does intrigue me. I priced this setup to be right around $10K! it sound so lush man.

Very slick Roman! That is a complex little build still, I love the way the delays trailed off. Positioning is great. Nice work man keep it up. So the big rack is gone, sometimes sweet set is better. My 10ru unit is full, and is switched with Ground Control Pro into a 24/96, then into a Lexicon MX200, then a Line 6 Pod HD Pro X, then Eleven Rack, into a TC G force, finally into a Sonic maximizer. Pedals into effects loop are Kelley Halo, Strymon mobius and Big sky. I have basically two systems in one running then into two Vox AC15C1'S. I REMEMBER your original rack and that inspired me to build my own.! Well done mate sounds awesome.

Nice sounds. I didn't know a vintage reverb could get those long ambient reverb sounds. You should give Kristian Larsen a listen for great rack tones. He nails the rack era of cleans with chorus and delays etc.

Dude, you got to run that rack in stereo, with two amplifiers, running that beast in mono is like racing a Ferrari with two flat tires...

Seems great for the crew. Easy to access, and repairable. Is that why you opted for this rather than say a floor helix?

Do You have any video or pics of how you’re running power to the pedals? I imagine that you’re using custom power cables but would love to see how you have them routed

Can someone upload build instructions for a build similar to this one? Not so much the effects/specific rack units, but moreso the shelves and rack container dimensions, etc?

Congratulations on your beautiful rack. t.c. electronic's TC2290 is the king of digital rack delays. Lexicon's PCM80 is another legendary digital effects unit. Love your Skrydstrup midi controller and Skrydstrup system interface. Any reason(s) why you chose Skrydstrup over say Custom Audio Electronics or RJM Music midi and audio controllers? Could you please describe the general function(s) of the Skrydstrup system interface? I subscribed to your channel. Very interesting videos. Thank you, and rack & roll.

Spectacular… why did you use the mvc on volume and not the p1 or p2 on the sc1 to connect the volume pedal?
@shnobeltone Жыл бұрын
I am using the P1 on the SC1 but that is only midi control for something, and the actual unit controlling my volume is the MVC, I hope this makes sense, the P1 and P2 are just expression input ports, the SC1 doesn't pass any audio through
@Steve560sec2 жыл бұрын
As always great content and a fantastic rack! How do you create your labels for the SC1?

Ive edited some stock reverb sounds on the PCM80 but its mostly slightly modulated reverbs, I don't have the LXP-15II but im assuming it can get close to the PCM80

If anyone sees this and can recommend some alternatives to the switching solutions (mainly to the Axess and Skrydstrup devices), that’d be amazing. I want to make a rack based rig, but if i want to fit my drive pedals in, I need a loop switcher.

Its a pretty long video for me to make, but I hope I explained in the beginning that I use 2 Axess Electronics GRX4 for all the switching, all the pedals plug into the two units and are midi controlled, if you have any other questions, let me know.
