Hello! I just found your channel and I’m so very glad I did! I love your positive energy, and I’m blown away at what you can get done in a day! My daughter (turns 20 at the end of the month) has had chronic GI issues since she was born. She had gastroparesis at one point, but they seemed to treat it as just a one time deal and not a chronic condition, 🤔. Anyway, she has other chronic health issues, and it’s just so good to see another young woman with a chronic health condition not only charging ahead with her life and thriving, but also being open about her health condition, and doing a bit of education for the KZbin world community while she’s thriving! I’m sure it sounds silly, but your energy in your video just helped boost my mood, and I’m VERY grateful for that. I look forward to seeing more of your videos! Oh, and I love your sloth too!

aww thank you so so much this comment means the world to me. I am sorry your daughter has many chronic health issues as well. They are not easy to go through. But seriously thank you so much for commenting! My whole goal is just to spread more kindness and joy while educating about what it is like to have gastroparesis but also show that you can do great things with a chronic illness so I am so happy that seems to be resonating with others! Thank you again! And the sloth is one of my new favorite decor pieces haha

Queen, you need to make an oh shit tubie kit for your backpack and or car!!! Mine has extra gauze, tubie pads, tubie clip, tape, dollar tree wet wipes, napkins, 35 & 10 ml syringes, baby scissors, and a small bottle of water. Also emergency meds, Farrell bag and a few electrolyte packets. It’s come in clutch soooo many times!!!! And you could probably sew one out of cute fabric and embroider it!

Aww I am so sorry to hear you are having a lot of gastric problems :( I do touch a bit on the mental aspect in the q and a I am posting next week. It is so hard on your mental health, way more than I expected as well. Just know that even when you have good days it doesn’t mean you are faking it. Your pain and symptoms are completely valid! The sewing room looks so cool!! And your sewings gotten so good! So cool to get to follow your progression over the months. Having a rough flare up day and not even my Emend is keeping the nausea at bay. Really wish there was more doctors could do for this disease. Why does GP make you feel so icky and sick. Are your symptoms worse at night too? Started following you on Instagram as well! I want to share my experience as well with this condition and hopefully be able to help others and raise awareness like you do! Me and my bf are wishing you an awesome and hopefully easier symptom week from Philly!

Thank you so much! I am so happy I film it as well because I love seeing the progression. I am so sorry about your flare up they suck so much. I really wish there was more they could do about it too. Hi @Kenna, let me start by saying you are amazing, and I enjoyed watching your videos. Maybe this is not the place to ask you questions about gastroparesis, but if your ok answering them I would love to ask them. My mom has recently falling ill, she's had diabetes for over a decade and unfortunately she hasn't controlled it very well. The last month she's had serious stomach issues, she's been in and out of the hospital cause she can't keep food down and is constantly nausea, and vomiting and the doctors diagnosed her with gastroparesis. It's been hard for us cause we don't know how deal with it and if she's going to get better. Doctors think once her diabetes gets controlled her medication will help the gastroparesis symptoms, but I'm just researching on options if she can't handle food anymore and your channel is so inspiring. I understand if you can't reply

Hi Kenna... have you ever tried Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture to help manage your symptoms? There are many studies that have been published showing the benefits both have on diabetic and idiopathic gastroparesis, with one study even mentioning that there was 100% emptying during a gastric emptying scan after 4 hours from a period of acupuncture treatment. It may be a possible aid to help... Take care and stay strong!
@KennaKrueger3 жыл бұрын
Yes I have! I’ve tried acupuncture and Chinese herbs multiple times from multiple different people and unfortunately it didn’t help much. I appreciate the suggestion though! Thank you!
