In this video Fort Crowder conservation area and I operate some on my Icom 7300 using the new to me slinky antenna. Mr B takes me on a walk through the trail system right next to our camp.

I am from Missouri originally and we had a Crowder State Park in my area. That was up in North central Mo. Trenton. Have fun some great camping on Missouri.

I have always wanted to try a 'Slinky' antenna. Some have had good luck with them and others not so much. Have fun and stay safe Rich!

I use a Giant Slinky up a 40’ fiberglass pole with a 9:1 Unun. Worked great.

Thanks for commenting and RR those are terrific antennas. I want to try that slinky again at home and I’ll do a video on it. Maybe I can perfect the installation of it lol
