Wow love your dad's perspective! He is right, the world loves to lift people impossibly high just so they can enjoy their falls that much more. Kanye is one of my favorite artists! I dont expect anyone to be perfect. Unless you do something that is truly unforgivable that should be punished by law, I truly believe that people should love and support one another especially when people are in their darkest moments because we will all have them. Acting like we are all mighty and do no wrong while pointing fingers at others just wont help in any way. It truly dont make us any better. Anyways love this video and reaction of one of my favorite artists and albums of all times.

Before I even watch i'm excited as hell for Kanye reactions. Since Mike loved SIMBI, I wonder how he'd react to, what I'd call like a proto SIMBI album such as college dropout. A majority of each Kanye album has significantly influenced different landscapes in rap music. Considering this is almost 20 years old, you can partly define this album the rubric for 21st century rap, not to mention, the pop culture influence Kanye has reached beyond his music

In the documentary, there's a very touching and illuminating scene where Kanye is out on his property in Wyoming and on the phone with his dad. Kanye was asking his dad if he remembers when he (Kanye) was riding his bike (or tricycle?) and wasn't falling. His dad somewhat downplayed it and asked Kanye to remember that he was running alongside him while he was riding to keep him from falling. Kanye said to his dad that he should come run beside him again (i.e., be the protective & supportive figure by his side again). 😢
