Just started watching your video's. We are definitely the same kind of operator. Even learning a few things. I just own schwings. Even after 17 years of pumping everyone has a different trick that works well. Pump on my friend.

Is that agalia concrete to prime the entire system? if so, that’s a great idea to avoid segregation or plugs! i never did a mount job before
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
It’s a grout mix (contains no aggregate). I find that Agillia type mixes can actually be much difficult to prime than one would think (considering the piss wet slump). Chemical gets sucked out of the mix by dry pipes/hoses and plugs in there tighter than a “you know what” 😁😁😁

@@canadianconcretepumper1979 that grout was pretty wet lol In Ontario where Im from, we pour grout to prime pumps but it is sloppy milk shake consistency. If I ever brought grout that wet, the pump dude would lough me out of the job 😀 Cool job by the way

What powers the second boom? Also is the other operator with you or a different company?
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
Spyder boom is powered by a 13 horsepower Honda gasoline engine. Cool thing with it is that it can also be powered by 480V 3 phase power supply (it actually has independent hydraulics pumps for each gas and electric). The other operator works for the forming company which owns the placing boom and the high-pressure pump, the 38-5 Putz and the Spyder boom they rented from us for the pour.

What do you guys think of the cab over peterbilt vs Mack?
@canadianconcretepumper19792 жыл бұрын
Sooooooo much nicer to drive and also with the Cummins powertrain, more reliable. I will say however that the truck itself is not built nearly as heavy as a Mack, if not for the vast majority of our work being accessed via paved roads, I may lean towards the Mack MRU.
