From what I remembered regarding the Dialogue from a translated version shortened; Arle and her friends were looking for Carbunkle and Satan was under control of the Jester who became Arle’s Doppelgänger. Satan was under control so he couldn’t remember anything at all

Note that 5,074 days after this game came out, Doppel was officially confirmed to have survived the events of this game, and Ringo was actually surprised to find out that Doppel even existed to begin with while Arle just straight up couldn’t remember the events of Yo~n at all.

It’s not even in Quest, it’s in a FREAKING DRAMA CD. In Quest, Doppel ends up meeting Amitie and tries using her superiority complex against the girl with the red Puyo hat… only for Amitie to figure out the problem at every turn and yet still forgive the Doppelganger.
