Limiting this game to Apple Arcade was ridiculous. Puyo games' matchmaking already struggle enough with the lack of cross-platform, but now limiting this game to a platform barely anyone uses, what a waste.

Puzzle Pop has a couple of really interesting features for its multiplayer despite being less active than PPC or PPT2: 1. You can reset your rating every ten days. The idea behind this being that if you if over or under seed your rating you can try a different skill bracket every so often. The main caveat is that more devious people can sandbag their rating as well to bully less skilled players. 2. You can set which side your board is on. This has never been in any other Puyo game I can recall, and for offline events something more recent players had to practice on games like PPC or PPT1/2 is playing on 2P side because both ranked and free play aways puts their board on 1P side.
