Since I’ve noticed some comments from people who don’t know about Puyo, here’s context! The white haired guy with the sword is name Schezo, and he’s a dark mage. His main gimmick is that because he’s stupid I guess he’s constantly making remarks that come off as innuendos (for example: the entire video). He doesn’t actually intend to come off as a creep but unfortunately that constantly happens and the only character who tolerates him is Arle (who’s not in this chapter). Schezo is constantly on a quest for power so that’s why he goes after Sig, who is baby. Sig’s entire thing is that he’s neutral in everything except for one special thing. So that’s why he’s so calm with all this. And yes there is a reason why he has a red hand but I probably shouldn’t say. The other characters here are Lidelle (or Rider), who kinda just exists. Glasses guy is Klug, a friend of Sig, who’s absolutely hilarious and also a nerd. That pink fish is referred to as The Ocean Prince, and he’s more relevant in other games. The blond girl is Amitie, another one of Sig’s friends and one of the main characters of the franchise. And last but not least is Lemres, the Comet Warlock who’s like one of the only characters with a brain. Anyway yeah okay Puyo Puyo Tetris it’s hilarious and genuinely great

This is fantastic. This looks exactly like how I would picture a Puyo Puyo animated series. It makes me WANT a Puyo Puyo animated series. Don't ask how that would work. I'm sure they could find a way, especially considering how likable the characters are and how much there actually is within the Puyo Puyo universe that could be explored. Just think of all the possibilities, especially since the games are kind of limited in their storytelling potential due to having to find reasons for characters to get into Puyo battles. Also, I really cannot believe how much they got away with when it came to Schezo's dialogue. I mean, this is the series that, once it finally localized, decided to change a character's name from Satan to Dark Prince. Guess they just cared less about the dirty jokes and more about religious references.

I think I've rewatched this like 20 times since when it was in my recommended section. It was also the reason I got into Puyo Puyo Tetris (again). I have played the game before, a while ago, but I wasn't like a huge fan at the time and I didn't know what I was doing. Edit: I have played Puyo Puyo Champions but not Puyo Puyo Tetris
