Cold Clear is a brand new Tetris battle AI made by MinusKelvin. Started development as early as August and only recently ported to PPT, the improvement rate at which this bot grows is huge!

context for this game is kinda important: although this game ended 3-0 in zetris favor, the fact that the set was over an hour long easily means it's really a tied game. most of the time the bots are fighting back and forth without one really prevailing over the other. though it must be said cold clear does way cooler tech than zetris does. additionally, this game was streamed live onto twitch and my computer could barely handle running both bots, the game, and the stream all at once. both bots were likely running slightly underpowered due to this, so this might not even be completely representative of either bot's actual performance. this especially shows in the fact cold clear is scoring less compared to zetris, when under good working conditions it's often actually the opposite case. though, i thought this had entertainment and showcase value still, so i decided to publish this anyway. please take this game with a truckload of salt and don't be like "zetris won 3-0 and scored higher so it must be waaay better than cold clear!!!!!1". cold clear should not be underestimated in any way.

really contentful hmm i'm in a bit doubt that whether the "current combo" is maintained and properly passed to the misamino each time the AI is executed..... cuz i see quite often (or just sometimes...) a potential big combo gets first 1 or 2 steps done but then gave up. though i can't be sure because the AI has calculated much more than i can, also may be because you have added penalty term for each line clear / low-efficiency line clear? and if it forgets "i'm on a combo" it'll very probably give up the combo. just to ensure, maybe i'm having wrong impression on previous versions.. ---- oh i saw the description about being underpowered.. it may also be the reason. also the fact that Cold Clear seems much more firm and unshakable(?) on combos. --- btw the pending garbage amount and the different rule PPT uses... are they implemented in misamino simulation too? --- oh i finally saw a big combo for zetris near the end of the first game...
