Sonic Time Twisted - Frigid Fortress Past Music Extended

The composer of this absolutely understood what makes a Sonic bgm work along with the level progression. It's that spaced out start which leaves a lot open for the mind to play with as you excitedly saw that new level and colour palette. As you venture into the level and begin to understand it's intricacies, the music accompanies that. These days it's able to be done dynamically, depending on where the player is within the space. But this captures the old school spirit of devs having to anticipate the right tone and pace of the music to really draw the player in and enhance the experience. This track caught my attention in 2017 when I first played twisted, and it's head canon at this point.
