PVC basic raft repair

Thanks for sharing this video. I have placed more than 100 patches on airtracks for gymnasics. I love to see, that you use pressure on the patch while the glue cure. I have learned to do that by a experienced manufacturer of inflatables in general (not only for marine). But I have studied more than 20 procedures for patching on internet, and almost none use a pressure method as you and I use. I have had good results with pressure applied via small sand backs to distribute the pressure on the patch. Then I use quite heavy pressure of about 100-200 kg via clamp. By the way, I do not sand surfaces and only use one layer of glue. I think the pressure makes a significant difference. For difficult double curved areas along joints, I use sand backs on both sides and not too large patches. More patches may be needed.

Most important thing: which glue one have to use. Is there glue in a tube you can take with you?

The problem is that you don't show watch mechanically preparing a patch means, as well as chemically preparing. You don't show much of what you're doing. Just a whole lot of talk. Not very helpful
