Hello, I would like to tell you how much I have learned from your videos. I am a theatre teacher and just started a puppeting unit. I made a puppet based on your round headed puppet tutorial. I was wondering if you might make a tutorial about you pig puppet. I am interested in how the multi-shaped head is formed. Thanks and keep up the great tutorials.

one tip for you, if you heat up the pipe it could even be cut with a knife so you don't have to split it with a saw

this is brilliant. I really appreciate how little you use power tools and how much you use elbow grease. it's wonderful for watchers that don't have expensive tools at their disposal (like myself :p). thanks.

Suggestion: look for a sign-making material called SINTRA. It comes in many thicknesses and is made of PVC.

I usually cover the PVC eye in cloth then stitch the cloth to the puppet.

Well... good question. I come from New Zealand, a very comfortable country. I gave that up to come to Colombia, a third world country. After a few years we had enough church support to be comfortable enough within this poorer context (hence the ability to have a camera and internet to be on youtube) Although Colombia is in the mid range, socioeconomics world wide, I understand what it is to be poor, as we work with the lowest rung of this society. About 4 years ago our support was cut, now we live on the same level of income, as this lowest rung of society here. So officially, that makes us economically poor. But, am I poor? I get to do what many people do not get to do. I am not a slave to some company, I get to experience things most people on the planet do not, and I am as free as one can get, within the context of a law governed nation....therefore, I am indeed, very rich.
