Btw Alt F4 Works also after dying but you have to do it very quick after the kill shoot - it’s very useful when you doing quest like “The quide” where you loose your progress when dying. But like I said - you have to press it very quickly - so you have to be mentally prepared for this ;)

Yeah frankly this is cool for like grabbing stuff you cant buy easily like spears or m60s or keycards or whatever but i cannot imagine many people that are making the choice to play pve over pvp are going to be willing to waste the time it takes to load in, run, secure and loot just a single marked room, over and over until they get good loot, or alt f4 if they dont. Its an interesting little exploit for sure and would be tight for getting info on loot tables and probabilities and profit per openning and stuff really easily compared to other options.

For the amount of time it takes to do this and how infrequently the keycards spawn (I ran a full 10/10 dorms marked key normally and only got 1 keycard) you could just spam Streets or Ground Zero runs for bolts/ES lamps/GPU's, I consistently average 2-3m per raid this way.

The most fun way to play is to just learn the better loot areas on each map and just run around those while doing quests but people are going to bug abuse till it gets patched

Well, it is how it is. People ruining their own game or they having fun with it, I dont care. Yeah, sure, there is the flea market. But the flea market is already questionable in PVE with its current form (at some point the majority has everything for hideout etc) and it gets even more questionable if mods are actually coming with 1.0. You could either leave it as it is (and you use it or not) or rebuild it to a simulated one. But if mods actually coming this will be most likely topped by modders.

@@PK88. Well, if you take the idea of flea market from PVP... it doesnt work in PVE since PVE isnt meant to wipe (and should not wipe since its a advertised feature in the product. Everybody saw what happend with the Unheard release and changing the meaning of features in EOD edition). At some point the majority has most of the stuff and only certain items like Moonshine for example will be traded. Everything else will most likely have some weird prices. Only a small amount of players is either completely new or its players who wiped their profile. Nikita also announced mods with 1.0. Lets assume its basically everything possible... new traders could get modded into the game with everything on them, new weapons or any other items. That will create chaos on a live flea market with real players. At this point the flea market in its current form (I didnt said "remove the sh***y flea market!!11!1") will be heavy questionable. Thats why I said examples. Either dont change it at all and leave it as it is. Or replacing it with simulated flea market with a bit better balanced economy. Or either a option to completely disable it (some want to play without flea I think). I also have the idea that, if BSGs adds several profiles/saves (Pestily already asked Nikita about that in a interview if I remember correctly), that the current profile one could get switched over to "casual chilling (I dont know a good name for the mode haha)" where you have mods enabled and you have NO interactions at all with players. So you can do whatever you want. Then you could create a second profile and choose gamemode, either "casual chilling" again or "PVP like but PVE" which has wipes though. But you have flea market interactions with real players and the idea of flea market works, because it wipes. That obviously requires that "bugs" like the one showed in the video, gets fixed so economy doesn't take a hit. If we talking about gamemode selection they could actually also add something like "Hardcore" where you don't have mods enabled, no flea market in anyway at all and no stuff and secure container. Thats just a side idea off topic.

Bro I'd be ESPing in PVE if I REALLY wanted to. I want to, but not bad enough to DL Spt or actual cheats lol. Everyone plays differently. I used to only run factory and hide until the last 5 minutes to get scavs to spawn with FORT and Kiver helmet (those were the best armor in 2017 lol) just to not even take it out in raid. This is a simple bug to fix, they just havent solved it. Ideally your client would "check in" with the live servers when you load a raid, and "check out" when leaving a raid. If the checkout never occurs then on profile load delete gear etc and trigger insurance.

The server goes down you lose loot. There is unexpected packet loss you lose loot. The game crashes you lose loot. Also this would most likely create a cheat to extract instantly, anywhere.

It's quite a complex problem as I believe that to make the raid work they would have to save data locally as to the game state periodically and then update the server at the same time which causes issues itself with regards to disconnecting from the server or if it fails to sync at the time it tries to or that it could impact your FPS or performance at the time it tries to sync. It's an issue in many games that are single player that rely on servers once said game is complete

When you first join a raid Info is sent to BSG. After you leave Info is sent to BSG because the servers are expecting info back. BSG knows if you're doing this I dont care how accidental you're trying to make the alt F4 sound there is risk involved and its not worth my account. Its so easy to make cash on PVE anyway its only the marked and cards that have net losses.

Ironic that your KZbin handle is "Nutshell" but your videos are anything BUT that. 16min video to explain a < 1min topic. Rather distasteful and disingenuous to try to farm your viewers like that and basically waste our time. Maybe next time just tell us up front and then leave the "here's what it looks like when you do this" until after the explanation for people who want to support your channel and watch the full video. you'll upset a lot less people and likely even gain a lot more viewers/subscribers because the content is decent, but the way you make the videos and drag out all the information is a pretty underhanded way of forcing people to watch a > 10 min video to farm ad revenue.

I wouldn't call this a bug because as far as I can tell this is intended behaviour and can only happen in very specific situations. When you're playing with other players or solo on Streets, its hosted on a server and this doesn't work. When the game is hosted on a server, of course the loot in your possession, the uses of your keys, etc. all gets logged automatically because your computer is constantly in contact with the server to play the game. When solo PVE instances are hosted locally, the server doesn't need to know what is happening locally until the end of the raid. That's why quickly tapping alt+f4 after dying doesn't work because there's something in the code that tells the server you died and ends the raid instance. The biggest problem with this exploit is that I don't know if there is a viable solution to it. There may be ways that BSG could flag certain criteria to ping the server to update the character's inventory, but that could create problems like alt+f4 or legitimate crashes sometimes letting you keep whatever you looted in that raid before it crashed. It could also take up more server capacity to do so, and they made the locally hosted raids specifically to save servers for things that actually need to be online. Especially now that they've opened up PVE for sale to everyone as an add-on, that extra server capacity will be important to BSG. They may also be able to make any crashed client count as a death or MIA, but there could be technical challenges to that since a crashed raid doesn't technically end and I've experienced PVP and otherwise online raids where the server crashes and when I get back to the menu I still had everything I had when the raid started, and nothing I had looted (which I think suggests this is intended behaviour). They've also made it pretty clear that they don't really care about PVE so they may not care if people use exploits in PVE. This has been a known issue since they launched the locally hosted PVE raids, and there's also still No-AI exploits as well which seems to be linked to the Offline Co-op infrastructure they used to make the locally hosted PVE raids possible. This honestly may also be part of the reason for the loot nerf, to make people who are willing to waste their time accomplishing nothing in most raids just to get some of the best loot in a few. If it takes 10-15 minutes to load into the raid, run to the best loot spots, alt+f4 and re-launch the game then repeat, making loot pools worse so you only find stuff worth keeping every 5+ raids means there are actually faster legitimate ways to make money in the game. And if that's the case, the impact on the in-game economy would be minimal and BSG could justify not spending the dev time to fix it. All things considered, I don't think this is as game-breaking as it appears but for anyone who does actually use the exploit, I just have one request. Sell the spoils to the vendors, don't put it on the flea. That way it doesn't affect any other player's experience and becomes essentially harmless.

at raid end. At any point before you extract if you disconnect in any way that entire raid basically never happened. People are thinking "oh cool exploit" but this also means if you lose power or internet mid raid you lose all the progress from the raid. Had this happen with a bag full of quest items a couple times, i was so gutted. Would be cool to see them fix this one in some fashion

If you want to really maximize it use a pistol instead of primary slot gun. kill 3-9 PMCs grab decent armors and guns nades and meds and peace out. F1s sell for 9-10k a piece so bringing 5-10 out per raid and filling up a grenade case for a big bulk sale every dozen or so raids nets a decent extra profit. Fix up guns and armors save any good lvl 6 plates and ammo for later use and just vendor stuff to therapist, mech, ragman. Levels repair skills quick. I get around 750k per run depending on pmc spawns and killa spawn. I do about 7-10 mins per raid so really isnt hard to farm up 4-5 mill in an hour. plus every time I hope out I restart any hideout crafts. I kinda stumbled into this farming tags for quest Trophies and realized its pretty profitable

Profit for what exactly? To shoot bots by yourself as a wealthy individual instead of just moderately rich one? PvE is entirely pointless outside of the ability to just play the game at your own pace, this seems like a great way to waste time in-game without actually playing it
