Hey Kris you know what I ran into. In a 1v2 I was fighting a melee player with a pocket healer and the healer was locked on with their life staff and the light attacks hurt. He never missed and I was in the open with no real LOS. I’m trying your build though. Big change in play style compared to how I usually play New World so I’m not very good right now either.

Yeah, if them aim lock your kinda forced to kite real hard. I am finding some sweet spots to counter its timing, lots of direction changes at the right moment help but honestly sometimes just running to the side works wonders lol

This is why the game was a million times better before they pushed back faction to level 17, doing pvp at below lvl 10 was great, you use to be able to faction up as low as lvl 7 in the past.

Out of curiosity are you using freeform movement and do you have attacks only with camera facing or do you have it turned off? I feel like with it off some of my attacks just go in random directions!

i played musket on the OG release and loved it but im really struggling to enjoy it in Aeternum. The speed is fine but my bullet comes out of the game maybe 1/4 of a second after i click and it feels disgustin

hello guys, im really new to this kind of games and i know nothing at all lmao. I wanted to play an MMORPG with action combat, cause i don’t really like the click and wait to kill the npc and then using skills (the LoL type of combat system), I’m used to games in which you click buttons to do every single action even if it’s a single punch, or expecially aim to shoot. I did some research online and I couldn’t find nothing but this, but before buying is it worth the money? Is this what i’m looking for? I just want more information but it’s not popular at all in my country, what’s the theme of the game? the world etc? Pvp is amazing right now because it’s way more skill based and much less gear based. As soon as all the sweat nerds start rocking bis gear it will ruin all of this. That’s the biggest downside to this game. If it wasn’t so heavily gear dependent in end game pvp it would be 100x better. Once bis gear is obtained it creates a massive margin between less geared players and it just kills everything.

"best PvP" is hard copium The combat is way too clunky and slow. It's mid at best Wow, GW2 and LA are so much better in terms of pvp

Enjoy your month or two until you figure out there's no end game and that small percentage of players that runs all the wars, territory, gold distribution, taxes, market and crafting to make your end game experience exactly how it was designed, unfair, unbalanced and boring.

I've been playing since the original beta, wait til you get higher end pvp with people who know what they are doing. The desync is quite literally the worst it's ever been. I've got clips of being tripped by spears before the animation goes off. Half my abilities are still not going off when they should, can't do combos I used to fluently anymore because of how bad the desync is. It's very inconsistent. Edit: I know you been playing a long time, I'm just saying low level vs high level, you will see a major difference imo, especially with melee.
