A lot of bands have like, "touring members." So it's someone who essentially isn't apart of the band but tags along on tour to assist with playing shows. Like, as a three part band i'm sure they do a lot of layering in the studio so he's probably there to play a fourth part that the three of them can't live, ya feel? Cause he's never been in any "official" photos of them?
