@@bigironbois You’re playing it smart, then! I’m lucky to be about 10 weeks ahead on videos because I’m closing on a house for the first time within the next week-and-a-half so everything is getting packed up plus it’s going to take some time to get re-established. My videos are WAY easier to make than yours, though. I can really appreciate your editing. It’s very much the type of thing that’s worth the wait! Thankfully, the place I’m moving into directly borders a relatively big piece of woods plus just has a better setup in general. Exciting!

Yes! If time was no consideration, it’s probably worth waiting for a good sale but besides that I’d much rather have the device itself and then work on getting the peripherals. Thanks for the comment and have a good one!

Also, if you get the bare PVS14 then win the lottery you'll have the PVS14 to hand to your friend when you go out with your quad nods. LOL I keep my Night fox for a friend to share the night with.

That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Sharing the Night Fox is always fun! Oh, man… I’d probably start my own night vision business if I won the lottery! I’d obviously love to try quads one day. I'd honestly one day get one just to have it for walks in mountains/woods, and looking at stars. Having such gizmo sounds like a superpower, tbf.

Another thought, if you are a gun guy, is getting a clip-on adapter for your rifle. Not too much extra money to attach your pvs14 to your gun. That's kind of like multitasking with your nvgs and anothrler activity.

Can you see birds sitting in the trees?

No. They have a good IR signature and are small and shaped like leaves. They are virtually invisible

I use the NVG10 for stargazing and have it mounted on a tripod with an excellent clamp I found on Amazon.
