I used the Walker's, but after field testing on a rainy night they got wet and started to clip out with my ML19 and PVS-14 setup. Thus I went with the Sordin Supreme Pro-X and have not looked back, regardless sick setup!

I am running a Gen 3 White Phos. Now I only have a Rhino Mount. It works fine but, I will be getting a Wilcox mount soon. I have a nice Thermal sight but, have been using the Streamilght VIR2. I love shooting hogs with the IR Lazer.

the issue i see is that... how will your eyes be able to look through both sets? im sure they willl only do 1. or you will get a headache ? where did you get your goodies?

You rarely look through both thermal and nv…some people claim the image “fuses” but doesn’t for me and most people. You keep one up out of the way and look through the other. I use nv to navigate/walk and thermal to scan for heat signatures. You can use a handheld thermal monocular to scan, but helmet mounted is much easier and you aren’t fumbling around in the dark. Thermal picks up a lot nv misses. I run this setup with an ACOG + RMR on top. I can take the shot with my night vision (right eye) + RMR for passive, or detach my RH25 and put it in front of my ACOG as a clip-on. I just rotate the nv up on the helmet and look through the acog which is now a 4x thermal.

How much did the set up cost for the pvs14/mh25 and mount? Im looking into a RH25 for people playing hide and seek on me in the woods during the day/night.

Pvs14 prices vary a lot. The MH25 is going to 4k everywhere. G24s are generally around 500 and the bridge is around 700.

I guess what it comes down to is the people who have the money will always have the advantage. Thats like $8,000 on your head alone now who in tf has that kind of money??

Training will give you more advantage then any piece of equipment. But a set up like this can be acquired over a period of time, not all at once. Just have to set a strict achievable goal with your budget and stick with it.
