Replace Fanatic sword with Kigetsu Odachi, then replace the susano armor piece (usually chest) with a kigetsu. With chest, arms, legs, feet and odachi, that makes 6 piece kigetsu. Then get a Susano Kame-wari helm. Overview: 2 Susano ranged, 1 susano melee, 1 susano armor(must be Kame-wari helm) for 5 piece Susano bonus. Then, 1 kigetsu melee, 4 kigetsu armor for 6 piece Kigetsu bonus. This is 5% more cca than having 2 piece fanatic and all the rest. I hope this helps!

Things I realised way too late: You can use Triangle and Circle once living weapon is active to perform an action identical to using a guardian spirit talisman. You can use an elixir while living weapon is active, which I see a lot of people using Susaku (0HP --> activates Living Weapon) never do after being reduced to 1hp, often killing them once their bar gets a bit low and they take a hit. Same applies to any build using Leeching talismans with tenacity I suppose. Walking is just repeatedly falling over but catching yourself. Attack multiplier is what influences your damage output in Living Weapon mode, Might has nothing to do with it, though it sounds like it could do - Might is to do with the depletion of the Living Weapon bar when attacks are received. So being a tank is very dependent on your Guardian Spirit's Might. Maxing out the two stats that give your weapon the most of it's respective portions of overall damage provides more attack than allotting stat points like '200, 180, 160' or '200, 150, 100'... Allotting points sequentially for star rating as '200, 200, 100' for a build you might otherwise do '200, 150, 100' for, will provide greater attack. I wanted to put this somewhere.

I knew it was coming! Good stuff, waaay more damage than I got with the vanilla Fanatic's setup. A couple of tips possibly for you, but mainly for others: You can turn off Grapple and Sneak Attack in the Kusa skill setup so you don't get them instead of strong attack. If you want the ethereal version of the Kame-wari helm, the second axe revenant in The Return of the Gourd drops it.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if you forgot or something, because I thought I learned that trick from one of your older vids. Might be mistaken there though lol. Sadly it's only a chance for the helm to drop. You should be getting one every 4 or so runs with a luck build though, and they should only be divine or ethereal. Even an incomplete version of this build makes quick work of Gourd, so the farm shouldn't be too bad.

I kept playing around changing sets and matching status, bro, my level is 450 started second map in Wotw. My sword attack was around 2000 Dps. Finishing moves would reach 9000esh with the effects of talismans. Now my Sword attack jumped to 9000 and finishing moves 37,000. Thank you so much your tips helped A LOT. Everybody should forget the Soul series and get into NIOH

Love this build for the red enemies and bosses. It looks like summer twilight (R1+ circle) gives the same debuff as carnage. That can free up omnyo points for other skills. Great work.

Please update your Amaterasu with Kigetsu too, It's hilarious to me that two of my favorite Ethereal sets just happen to have the same fucking names as your older builds. I mentioned in another post (though I made a math error) that doing a 4pc Ethereal Bonus rather than the 5pc Susano and filling in the full Kigetsu would give more consistent damage for non-strong attacks. It's certainly more damage than what Fanatic is capable of now, much as it pains me to say. The damage reduction is even higher (though it requires an extra roll on chest armor to do so), I'm simultaneously happy and pissed that Team Ninja gave a more powerful replacement to my favorite set in the DLC. The only advantage of Fanatic is that it affects Ki and Guard (Critical), but even then the impact is dubiously useful. For Odachi, doing a setup like that means you can get Skill Damage (Moonlit Snow) or Moonlit Snow x3 (Attack Damage x2) on your weapon and put out some big, if somewhat slow and methodical, numbers. I think Kusa is the new king of Strong Attacks, but the overall LW moveset of Odachi including Moonlit Snow still just feels so good. Since that kind of setup only requires 3 pieces of an Ethereal set, guess which one would make thematic sense? ;p Besides, Kigetsu's is strong enough offensively and defensively outside of LW to warrant a more hybrid build using some Nullify Damage perks. Just something I thought I'd bring up, there's more fiddling to be done with Kigetsu, everybody's new favorite set. But maybe since it's already been in like two of your builds you want to give it a rest, haha.

Wonder if raijin is next in line for next dlc? ;p But yah the sets extremely versatile, even its 2pc is pretty bonkers effectively being similar to tata damage wise (since you gain agility b which is only 10% dmg vs kigetsu's 13% ccd). OP OP. And yah 6 kig, 4 ama, 2 fan would be the best generic lw setup if you didn't want strong atk dmg only. If any skills get a buff for lw, that'd be the go-to.

perfect answer to my question to you last week.. updated fanatic build and this is it.. im finally saying goodbye to Ninja Kunai build (lil sad but time to say goodbye im struggling with way of wise boss battles (specially gourd and restless spirit)6k to 10k damage of kunai is not enough anymore.. so my noob question to you as always. with level close to 400.. what is the bare minimum to get this build work.. not aiming for one shot everything.. but 3 to 5 shot is not too bad right? hahaha. ill go with Kunai, (farm from scion of virtue) Susano 1 second weapon Hikoemon ( fanatic set 1 piece) try to have both range weapons from Susano from Scion as well. Missing damage is always missing damage. And with atk x2, at least against yokai, you basically should count what your missing as TWICE the loss. For example, missing 5pc susano strong attack 16.8% should be viewed as missing 33.6%, against yokai (or humans if you use yokai realm water pots). Since atk x 2 doubles damage. Missing one stat isn't a big deal, but missing more does add up, which tends to be the case for people saying "they can't reach my damage", well no duh, you're missing damage or don't have the near max rolls I have. As always, I start, from the ground up. That is, armor first, weapon last. So charms should be easy, surely you have yokai ccd + LWAtk on at least one charm if you're in WotW, if not then yokai ccd+amrita earned is fine. Then I put the sets together, once I have all pieces, I start reforging stats, then put atk on all armor. Then go to range weapon, get EWDB (its worse under 30.1, so it's mainly for heavy builds, like this). And then lastly, weapon, which is super easy to reforge, since nearly every build the weapon is always the same. Cta, fdb, and ccd 20%, tempering makes all that easy. The rest is just extra benefits that don't really effect damage. If you perfect piece by piece, one step at a time, you'll do similar output as me. If you skip around and just throw it together, you won't do damage like me. I perfect the builds to show the best possible outcome, you have to do the same if you want that outcome. Obviously, it's something you (everyone) gradually works towards, unless somehow you got everything with the same stats already setup. At 400, the build is easy to put together and still have 99 in all 3 stats (no dmg loss). Nearly every build I make can be made at around 330 and still have 99 in all 3 dmg stats. Spirit can be much less. Heart can be nothing, takeaway from that. If you really need to, take away from body (unless you have cta body) or skill to get lower level. The damage loss isn't significant to matter much. But you want your B+ scaling stat, and cta stat, to be 99, always. Hope that helps!

Hi PWARGaming, managed to get all gear except susano Kusa (still trying) though.. so atm the build is very strong. im getting one press of strong attack from LW from 20 to 24k which is huge dont get me wrong.. but the LV dies quickly if i dont see enemy within 15 secs... maybe i am trying to play this wrong way.. i was hoping from the first LV that it would last till the end.. i managed to get the "tenacity damage, purification 2x damage, ccyokai dmg, amrita earned, amrita frm yokai, i do have genetal kigetsu, susano , hikoemo fanatic weapon, and random kusa etheral. also on my acc i have enhance dmg living weapon, also when a human starts blocking it makes killing them longer and LW dies .. any advice how can i focus on making the LV last even longer..?? different spirit ? thanks in advance.

only the weapons you have out effect your main weapons damage, so the 2nd wpn not (kusa) does ZERO for your primary damage, same with 2nd ranged weapon. You can only have 1 weapon, and 1 ranged weapon out at one time. having two Equipment damage perks upgrades it to a better grade, not stacks them (so A+ becomes aa-, which is only 1-2% damage). So really, only 1 equipment weight is recommended, on main ranged weapon, IF you surpass 30.1 weight. If not, agility is better.

only primary canon will effect damage, and no, elemental damage isn't worth stacking for, since you're stacking for the low 70ish damage of fire you get from lw, meanwhile kame-wari helm is effecting 3k wpn dmg physical. Physical is almost always better than elemental. Elemental also have to work around resistances like flamewheels or sanada. Not worth replacing helm for ogress.

Wondering if barehanded build could be viable in way of the wise? Stack attack, or barehanded attack on all armor (idk which would do more dmg), But it might do work with nullify dmg dash attack, and dash x'2 attack. And pump like all skillpoints into barehanded dmg, maybe a few select passives. No idea what armor it would use though, prolly something with ccd, or maybe part of this set to buff dmg from status effects. With refashioning you could prolly make it look like Ryu from street fighter, with that red headband and the sleeveless shirt (Think its Frontline?) or super saiyan 3 goku with the pants you used from the naruto build, and maybe the orange ninja shirt from the dlc 2 ninjas, and the samurai hairstyle. Possibly might be able to use certain effects to make a one-punch man build XD

I think I tested it before and it sucked balls. I believe you can't do a dash attack with barehanded either, so it'd have to work like this with kekkai+atk x2 purification on boots. People keep requesting a bare-handed build, but it always seems to suck, so it's honestly not worth my time. You could probably do this exact setup but with barehanded junk, and maybe, one shot a skeletor haha But for bosses you'll be suffering with small shots like if you were playing the game for the first time, even with max/perfected gear, thus, not worth it. There's a reason no one has made a viable one yet, it's because you can't, certainly not to the standards of this or even say a weaker build, like my devastator tonfa build. You'll just have wasted your time, for a limited moveset that isn't fun at all imo. Maybe if they added a falco punch type charge attack or something it'd be cool, but as is, I most likely won't do one.

Sick build, man. What buffs did you have on against Restless Spirits? I can only hit them with 192k with carnage, kekkai+ purify attack x2, zero ki damage increase attack, bonus on absorbing amrita increase attack, and summer twilight.

carnage, kekkai purification atk x2, bonus amrita absorb atk, weakness talisman, and leeching, iirc. leeching after Carnage will replace carnage buff with leeching atk buff. Obviously all in critical, but you probably just want to do at full life for sake of speed to farm gold faster.

yes, but you have to reforge 3 stats at the same time, then you can get max %/grade on a stat. Why's it do that? idk, but that's how you get fam dam A+ or AA- without star effect. It's the first thing i do when reforging a weapon i plan to use. Same applies to armor but less important.

But when i test at mission Restless Spirits( way of wise), my max damage only is 133k dam, while your is 269k. So different. Did LW damage NERF at version 1.19? or i have some wrong build? atk x2 was nerfed, which basically doubled dmg. I would look at my ryu hayabusa build for new stats to get on armor, pretty much copy those stats for this build if you can, might have to forge new gear for star effects. so copy the gear from this build, but copy the stats of the armor from my ryu build. get everything exact and dmg should go up. susanoo kame-wari helm (defile lots for best chance) with full kigetsu and 5pc susano is ultimate dmg setup.

It's one of those first two I showed in the clip, I believe. Or perhaps the one opposite of the Isurugi guy (guarded by 1 red odachi samurai), don't remember. One that always drops a canon. It's weird since I actually got duped susano cannon drops. As in, I picked one up, reset with earthfolding, checked again, and the same, EXACT susa cannon dropped. They were both the same lvl, and had the same stats. Was weird.

Okay so I added all the necessary ingredients of this build to suit my build of odachi with suzako. Issue that I'm facing is the damned Kami wari ethereal. Have been farming for last two days but not even a single dropped for me, let alone susano or some other build. Any tips on farming the helmet?

no tips, that's literally just how it is with ethereals. the only way TO get an ethereal kame-wari that isn't futsunushi, is from the axe revenant in return of the gourd. Stack as much luck as possible, kill as fast as you can, and repeat until year 2021 when it finally drops~

Well the new amrita buff from patch 1.16 or 1.15 made leveling really easy. You can farm marobashi (same way in video but with sake + suszaku&Saoirse) for some extra levels. You can get 2 billion each run (well really like 1.5 if you don't have amrita earned on absolutely everything). But really though, most of my levels came from farming/grinding lol.

If you are capped at lvl 400 that means you do not have the latest DLC installed, it will rise your lvl cap to 550 (with patch 1.16)

A > AA is only about 1-3% damage, so pretty much nothing too important. Not sure what your 2nd question is, i don't use sloth since sloth sucks in wotw for the most part as it only last like 2-3 seconds on most bosses.

Excellent build bro. Just a couple of questions. I tried it but my living weapon was very short lived what to do about that? Secondly the human bosses most of the time block the hits and the weapon ends. Thirdly I couldn't understand the science involved with kekkai talisman and leeching. If kekkai with purification is used, cannot all the builds use this method to upgrade their damage?

are you in critical? have to be 30% life or less, ALL lw last longer this way, much longer. The purpose of leeching talisman is to get low-life first. Amrita earned = more lw bar back when enemy defeated, so you need it on nearly everything. Then the onymo lw extended time passives. Kato should last a long time, using bunny will last much shorter. As for the blockers, that's any weapon/build. Odachi is better at breaking guard (quick attack to break guard, then strong attack to hit on floor), but kusa, simply keep attacking, or wait for them to attack you then attack again. And yes, the kekkai-tech can apply to all builds :) but this is the only way LW can get atk x2, other non-lw builds can use dash attacks instead to save a slot on hotbar since they don't need kekkai to get atk x2 or nullify damage.

"tenacity" on an armor piece, usually waist or feet. Pop leeching, wait to get low life and for debuff to disappear, use soulstone, then go into lw, activate other buffs, and proceed to destroy :p

reforged. If you reforge 3 stats at same time, you get max/"perfect" rolls (no star effects though), so AA- is the best possible non-star effect cta you can get (same for fam dam bonus being A+, instead of A if you reforged with one stat or tempered).

all rng. Marobashi kusa guy tends to drop his kusa more, which sucks since it's got human ccd on it, so isurugi is probably the better route. As for the weapon thing, kusa+odachi are the only wpns worth using lw for, everything else is average, damage output will definitely not be the same. Curious how tonfa does though.

revenant before elevator in demon king revealed, quit game till a divine version shows up on helm slot in revenant gear wheel thing. Or you can try for susano ethereal version from fighting axe revenant in return of the gourd, but good luck farming that thing.

sure, but I believe it's still weaker than kuroda, because you would be stacking lwae on charms anyways, which diminishes some damage from using ishida. It's almost always better to spread buffs with different "modifiers", and kuroda is unique and separate from everything else I got.

Awesome build man, I'm still trying to get ethereal tatenashi helm and boots, to perfect your uzemaki hokage build, but I want this now too. These builds are like monster hunter, just need them all. Ethereals suck to get though, hopefully we can craft them in way of the nioh next dlc, or atleast have some missions reward guranteed ethereals or something like: Boot (Ethereal or below), or something lol.

Uzumaki build can accomplish with 99 dex + throw weapon damage increase and throw weapon damage x2. Since I got a yasakani and a charm with throw weapon damage x2 and yokai damage 14% on both) I go for 3 throw weapon damage increase and 2 throw weapon damage x2 on my armor. I go with the new 5 piece Sanada set (scion with spear, head, chest, and pants) for thrust damage increase that scale with kunais + 4 pieces Iga (kusi, boots and arm) for that extra ninjutsu power. I'm running bat + bunny for burst damage from behind (just suppa, go behind regular red enemy and kunai them, or tiger run for quickly position myself behind boss yokai to burst them down with storm kunai.) This set up is work just fine for me in Way of the Wise (cuz flat throw weapon damage increase will stack with throw weapon damage x2 result in 20K+ damage when it proc (mostly 70% of the time) or a steady 10K+ damage (didn't count damage from behind) and this is only 250+23 divine gears (I only get a Scion spear etheral and still farm for the rest. In short, Uzumaki set up scale mostly with the throw weapon damage and throw weapon damage x2 and the new 5 pieces Sanada Scion set. My set up is kinda squishy but since you get 1 shot by enemy in wise anyway so stacking effect is the go. Alternatively you can run the new horse guardian + bunny or horse + cat or cat + bunny for extra flat damage against bosses since bat need you to go behind enemy.

Each time I get excited about an idea, I start going into despair knowing the grind needed to make it work U.U But I wanted to give people options, and the last 3 builds (including this) are very good options I'd say, if not the best in their respective class/playstyle. the missioin im farming might not be the best but it work wonder, now i cant remember the name but its the sub-mission in the first region were the girl with the raikiri assist you, im farming it on WOTS since i dont have any other but the principle of this sub-mission is only to go get a old charm from a chest.(just farm every revenant and monster then go back to the shrine and repeat) good source for devine item(for ressource), honor point to one day get the fuku bae appearence lol and is quick enought so you can farm it for gold if needed (on WOTS it give about 101 000gold with a chance at a divine accessory). it goes quick to beat enemy since that girl do a bunch of damage so just get the aggro and let her take the hit lol when she goes down get her back up and thats it ^^ hope it help i know its not the best and might get really boring to do but as of yet i dont know of any better way to farm since i cant really do any mission because my build isnt quite ready lol

Depends on difficulty. Pretty much the same build but full divine kaido or full fanatic using kusa/odachi if you're in ng+ or wotd. I suppose full kigetsu could work too. Marobashi in wise can get you past 2 billion amrita each short 1 minute run. I think ghost of sawayama gives 3 billion but takes a bit longer. Ghost is probably the best farm for any difficulty, since it's easier/faster than demon king revealed, and with occasional red enemies sprinkled, you get (slim) chances of getting 251-260 gear (irrelevant on lower difficulties).

306 not past wots? o.O surely if you're that high level you'd have plenty of gear options available no? (or did you use the crystal farm before they patched it?). Any case, plenty of builds, from lw to normal. For normal I usually prefer axe and spin to win, it's easy to make, full jpn bravest with kara-jishi (basically my buzzsaw build, check the video for that). At lv306 shouldn't have problems putting it together. check the description of that video for how to get gear. Otherwise, anything with kigetsu will last you all the way through wotw, it's the new op set.

So just found this charm that has this effect that increases attack based on equipment value. I did some very quick testing and it seems to be between 15% to 20% boost!! Can you confirm this PWAR?

I'm sure you have seen the reddit post about the full fanatic, fustsun, susanoo, and o something. Do you think its worth the grind for that much of a boost? I mean, you could do the same with this build, if not more dmg with mid-stance strong attacks (25k). It just depends on your armor setup, and the usual standard stat spread and whatnot I get nearly every build. Famdam + cta x + ccd 20% on high/max +lvl weapon, 99 in all weapon scaling stats, attack on all armor, yokai ccd% charms, all weapon passives, carnage/leeching/power pill, weakness talisman, and just a good armor setup. Seems like a lot but it's simple clockwork for me by now.

still top, tons of people are using it now even for abyss climbing, from hearsay anyways. kigetsu nerfed in the fact that you can't use an awesome talisman combo anymore (carnage+hermit), but the actual numbers for the set aren't nerfed, so just using leeching talisman now for bosses, and maybe carnage+steel + reciprocity for normal stages since it last longer than leeching sapping your lw bar.

Great build. Try get kigetsu 4 piece, tatenashi 4 piece, and grace of anything 4 piece. I use this with a moonlit snow odachi since you can use it in living wep.

character stats? 200 skill is recommended for all builds since most wpns use that stat. otherwise, 100 across the board i guess if you don't want to min-max dmg just for kusa. just leave spirit at 36-51, not worth going further. can increase jutsu cap of magic/ninja if you pass 100, then each 10 lvls after gets you another jutsu point.

scion of virtue quest, dlc2 mission. the chest for randomized canons is actually guarded by 1 guy, opposite to the kusarigama guy i farmed.
